  A Lovely Place to Stay

  We found this guesthouse to be a lovely place to stay. Our room was quite large, tastefully decorated and comfortable, and had a delicious and very enjoyable dinner eating in the guesthouse garden. The host was very warm, helpful and hospitable. All in all, it left us with a very positive feeling for our brief stay in the Black Forest.

  Lovely four night stay

  Stayed for four nights. Hotel was very clean and staff very helpful. Owner speaks excellent English. Bedroom was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was tasty,,cereals,fruit juices scrambled eggs, cold meats, cheese, fresh breads, butter and several home made jams were available. Hotel serves meals on the evening and also has a bar serving local beer. The local area is lovely, ideal for walking in the country. there are a few other restaurants nearby. We would definitely stay here again, if visiting in the area.

  We felt very welcome when we arrived!

  This is a picture perfect location. Breath taking views from your room,warm and friendly staff and comfortable rooms. We were looking for a quiet , quaint and out of the way place and we found it ! No worries if you want to drive back into town to see sights and attractions as it is not that far! A real gem of a place.

  Hidden gem

  Stayed here for only a night and loved it. It's a quaint hotel with much attention being paid to little details. The room was clean, comfortable and had a great view. The service was great. We had dinner at the hotel, which was fantastic. Overall, I would recommend this hotel when travelling through the Schwarzwald.

  Great hospitality, comfort and food

  We stayed here for three nights at the end June as a family. Our bedroom was spacious, clean and well maintained. Both the breakfast and dinner we had on each day were of a very good standard. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of cereals, homemade jams, yogurt and cold meat and cheese. Cooked breakfast was also offered. In the evening the course dinner of local dishes was excellent. St:Peter provides a great location from which to explore the southern Black Forest and I would thoroughly recommend a stay at Gastof zum Kreuz.
