budget stay so dont expect much

Do not go for all inclusive or half board if you are vegan or vegetarian .Actually do not go for food option at all. I was half board and had zero protein for a week. Food was the worst I've ever tried probably anywhere in my whole life , I was there with a non veggie friend and in her opinion it was also really bad. There was no veggie option at all, you had to make yourself something by mixing potatoes and fresh salad, there was once baked carrot. Or you can eat salad with feta every day. Most veg was covered in onion for no reason. One day there was no potatoes / rice/ pasta at all, just some random meats. If they had something vegetarian like courgettes or aubergines it was horrible truly horrible. I really dont know how can you cook in a way that every meal every dish is bad. The best dinner I had was fried potatoes with salad tomato ... You have to pay for a drink if you are half board. I had coke once and it was also horrible , probably diluted to the maximum. I would describe this hotel as 2 star or hostel. Stayed in superior room - tiny shower, fridge (which is good) asked for a kettle and got it also nice, one small bottle of shower gel and shampoo in one, 3 single bed for 2 people as they dont have double rooms?, no sofa or nothing to sit on, balcony with table and chairs. Its good enough. Housekeepers come every day and do good job. No option to opt out. Reception staff polite and helpful. Marina who has been praised here, cant speak English so only speaks to Russians and Slovaks ... also she watches your every move, no idea why heh. Pool and pool area is great ,that was highlight of my stay ,as long as I have hot shower ,comfy bed, clean space and nice pool Im happy.Food made me unhappy but what can you do. October was very quiet and very hot but hotel was almost empty so I loved it. It says there is a beach 150 meters away. I didnt see any beach near, we travelled 30 min by car to tsambika beach (its sandy). Not much to do in hotel surroundings. So if you pick this hotel dont get option with food. Also bear in mind its full of Russians and Slovaks which mind their own business and Marina cant speak English so if you looking for social interactions go elsewhere. We didnt spend much time at hotel during a day as had rental car and travelled

    Steer well clear

I was here with my friend beginning of October and while she gave the hotel 3 stars I feel I have to set the record straight. We went in believing all the positive reviews and were cautiously optimistic. Upon arrival we were given a triple room instead of a double and thinking it was a mistake we went back to reception only to be told that the housekeeper will separate the beds in the morning?! Im not sure how that was supposed to help things but there you are. We also mentioned the air conditioning doesnt seem to work and were promptly instructed to close the balcony door for it to start up. Well I closed and opened every door of every balcony and cupboard I could lay hands on and that aircon still didnt budge for the duration of our stay. Luckily it wasnt unbearably hot in the room except for a couple of nights. For the other few chillier nights we had a bedsheet to cover ourselves with. A single cotton stained bedsheet smelling of detergent. Thats it. Oh and one ragged blanket hidden in a cupboard that was meant to accommodate a triple room somehow. And if these features along with the moldy shower curtain and one tiny bottle of shower gel for 3 people arent enough to put you off, since at the end of the day its not a five star hotel, then please at least steer clear of the all inclusive or half board options. In fact if the hotel tries to offer you any food at all, please run screaming the other way and save yourselves. Im Eastern European and reading all the reviews written by Brits I expected Eastern European food heaven. Well what we got was few boiled veggies sprinkled with raw onion; Russian salad sprinkled with raw onion; tomato salad sprinkled with raw onion; dry burnt chicken souvlaki sprinkled with, I guess you know the rhyme by now, raw goddamn onion. And lots of feta cheese. No other cheese but feta. Veggie soup thickened with polenta that separates in your bowl 3min later, oily too; pea soup that got served two nights in a row because whats not to love about watered down soup. Avoid the temptation of soda pops because theyre diluted and 2.5 euros a pop. As half board I partook in two breakfasts and as few poor communist dinners as I could because the food was making me slightly suicidal. The one time we brought a bottle of beer to the table hoping to drown in alcohol the sight of what Romantza Mare calls food, we were promptly told off by Marina. Marina was really good at keeping the hordes of Russian tourists at bay KGB style. She eyeballed every spoonful and sip and made sure you werent stepping outta line. All in all if youre missing the good old communist times and delicatessen then suit yourselves and risk a stay at this hotel but dont say you havent been warned;)

very nice hotel, it 3+ stars

Very nice hotel with elevator or ramps, so it was easy to move with stroller. Close to the beach. our family stayed here in July 2019. Rooms were cleaned everyday, and towels were changed almost every day. as for 3 stars hotel - food is very delicious and various. Definitely , recommend it!

    lovely

i stay in jule An excellent holiday had! We went as a group of 2 families, and returned a week ago. We have 4 children between us, between the ages of 4-8 and stayed for a week. The hotel was exceptionally clean. It was very CoVid secure, yet maintained a lovely holiday vibe. Our family partial sea view rooms were lovely and spacious and the free mini bar was always topped up. Only beer & soft drinks, no wine in the room fridge, but plenty of choice downstairs in the restaurants .The food here is absolutely excellent. Due to CoVid, entertainment is reduced in the evening, however each night a different act performed at the outdoor bar, who were very good. Soloists, bands, dancers-a great range in the circumstances. Beach and pools were lovely. Lovely clear, warm water which they adored playing and snorkelling in. the boy thanasis is perfect lovely We would happily return

I can meticulously recommend this hotel.

We stayed in a superior room on the side of the hotel estates. We were very happy with the room which had a small balcony overlooking the breakfast restaurant and the pool. Everything was very clean and pristine and the bed was very comfortable. The staff is friendly and efficient. The hotel is in a great location . There are many very good restaurants around the hotel. We enjoyed wonderful meals in caldera taverna , which are all very reasonable prices. I can meticulously recommend this hotel.
