  Small and personal hotel

  Very small hotel on the outskirts of Dalaman but feels like its in the country. Clean good sized rooms and a great outdoor garden and swimming pool. Pool was very clean and looked after. Outside breakfast in the early sunshine was nice. Just be warned the satnav address is slightly too early on the map. Keep on the road a little further and the hotel is off to the left down a track.

  Great start to a holiday

  We stayed here after a late flight to Dalaman. We booked for two nights allowing for a day of relaxation before continuing south. We wanted to avoid driving at night after a tiring day travelling to Turkey. We arrived between 1 and 2 in the morning and were welcomed by the very friendly chef and a dog or two. If you do not like dogs do not stay here, no problem for us as we love them. The chef showed us to our room which was spacious and very well appointed. We slept very well and went down to a lovely breakfast; coffee was freshly brewed and was some of the best we had in Turkey. There were no restrictions on fruit juice. Cereals were available if you wanted, but with a Turkish breakfast including stuffed vine leaves why would you choose cereal? The hotel is unique. It is on the outskirts of Dalaman but you can swim or lie back in the hammocks and relax. We arranged to have dinner which was lovely. We were the only ones present so it was a very personal service. The next day we enjoyed an individual breakfast, just as good if not better than the day before. We had arranged for Metro car to bring our hire car to the hotel. This was done after breakfast in the hotel and was pleasant and easy. The big question: the next time you come to Dalaman would you do the same? Definitely. Lovely hotel, lovely owner, lovely food, lovely dogs, especially Luna.

  Avoid like the plague

  This hotel should be taken off all advertising sites until it gets its staff sorted. The degrading comments made to me by the bar man were so horrific, they left me feeling vulnerable and unsafe as a woman and as solo traveller. I immediately left the hotel and went to a different one. There were only 5 visitors that I saw at this hotel. Two of them left with me as they did not feel safe either! There were only 2 staff members on site that I saw and both were dressed very shabbily indeed. The hotel as I found out was closing the next day. The pool had been drained and choices of food/ beverages were very limited. I can also confirm that the comments another visitor made about the bathroom blinds are also true! They do not close nor do they fit the window and you are exposed! The bathroom wasnt even in my room! It was down the corridor! Also true are the pack of dogs that run around the hotel. However these comments Ive added pale into insignificance after the comments I received by the staff member. I have never felt so unsafe and vulnerable and I have traveled far and wide. I made a complaint to booking.com, where I had made the booking. I could not leave comments there as I cancelled the booking as soon as I was in the taxi to another hotel! Im sure the response I will receive from the management will not be good judging from responses I have now viewed on trip advisor. I wish I had have read them before booking. Please be warned! Avoid, avoid, avoid!

  Disgusting

  When we arrived it was raining and the property did not look its best, but the staff were courteous and helpful. Thats the good bit. Our room was dated and not very well presented. My wife went to the bathroom and large faeces were in the toilet, she had to pull the chain before she could use it. It was revolting. She then went to wash her hands and toothpaste spittle and and hairs were stuck around the sink. It was disgusting. We asked for the bathroom to be cleaned. We should have left straightaway but was afraid of finding another hotel. So, we went and found another hotel in Gocek, came back and got our belongings. Because we had booked in advance we were asked to pay, which we did as we are pensioners and didnt want to spoil our holiday. It was an awful experience. Can never recommend this hotel.

  Wonderful Oasis

  My wife and I have been staying here at the start and end of our Turkish holidays for several years now. This year we are staying for 2 days at the start and 3 days at the end. I cannot believe some of the negative comments I have just read and wish to put on record our findings. We love the seclusion, the back to nature the non intrusive way it is run,plus the views from the upper rooms or Sky Bar. The staff have always been totally professional, friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is served in a beautiful semi open space, next to the pommegramate orchard and by the pool and has everything you would expect for a Turkish breakfast. No need to eat again until the evening really. There are numerous outdoor spaces to relax, read or snooze or enjoy a swim. Our room has two balconies with sunloungers and great views. Yes, there are a number of dogs, but that adds to our enjoyment watching their antics ( Luna and Daisy in particular ). They are very friendly indeed. It is a shame that so many people just use it as an overnight stop, they should stay longer to understand it. We love to go to Sarsala Beach ( away from the tourists) where you really feel in Turkey. Sarigerme is nearby. Cinar Restaurant will collect you for dinner and bring you back, or go into Dalaman and try the local restaurants/Kebab houses, where you can also practice your Turkish. We look forward to our stay here every year. Thank you Thomas and staff. See you in May.
