Charming Accommodations! This unique hotel makes you feel like you've been transported back in time! It was originally a prison back in the 14th century! All rooms are charmingly updated with a rustic feel. Rooms are spacious; ours had a soaker tub in an alcove, and a nice balcony. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms are clean and spacious. Balcony doors can be left open at night to cool the room. The hotel is multi-level, which is part of the charm; but easy to get lost at first! Lovely grounds outside. Delightful and complete breakfast buffet. Excellent meals at hotel restaurant. Unique indoor/outdoor pool with indoor jacuzzi. This is a fun place to explore! There is a charming cathedral just outside the front door.

Very good, but not 5/5We have just left this hotel, after more than a week. We booked only two weeks before, so the availability was very limited and the price was at its high season peak. The hotel is located in the very centre of the old village, close to the old church and main (little) square. The hotel is composed by several ancient buildings and has a distinctive charme. On top of his character the owners have (heavily) decorated it like a proper art gallery plus several objects of design and some antiques. It could be a bit heavy, if not overwhelming, but if you pick a place with the name art hotel you should expect it. Less enjoyable is the decor in some areas with ethnic furnitures or decorations that really clash with the overall environment. The rooms are really large, comfortable and freshly refurbished. Our suite del drago was really large, with a nice view, although the shower in front of the door was somehow weird. Tiny suggestion (a coffee machine or water boiler). Personnel super polite, always dressed to perfection in the traditional South Tyrol style. Food was good, but sometimes a bit too focused on the look while the service (in the restaurant) was really slow. Waiters always smiling and polite, but you cant wait too long at breakfast or dinner. You are on holiday, ok, but sometimes we were falling asleep while waiting... this is why we preferred enjoying the food in the room most of the time. Lots of facilities (pool, spa, gym...) and all with its price, but fair. The Fie village is well located under the Sciliar, but to visit the area we had to take the car most of the time. Dont expect a mountain resort, its mostly a quiet village with all the South Tyrol qualities. Overall a very nice stay, but I believe its not a 5 out of 5 for me.

A Gem in the DolomitesThis was our first hotel booking during our one week hike across the Dolomites. It was a suggested upgrade from our tour company. Since this is a such a small village we were very, very pleasantly surprised to discover the high level of service, terrific amenities and gorgeous historical setting of Hotel Turm. Our room was fabulous; spacious, comfortable and with a large balcony overlooking the mountains. We had all our meals here all very satisfying. Finally, having a pool to cool off at the end of a hot day was just perfect!

Memorable accomodations in historic, art-filled buildingWe loved staying at this historic property which is filled with many nooks, crannies, and other interesting spaces that you can also get a bit lost but if you are open to being curious, you'll get some nice surprises. The spa area is a couple of levels with some incredible and relaxing spaces including a steam room with pine boughs, another cave like room filled with lit candles, a small pool type space to walk thru for reflexology, and many many more. The outside pool is very nice and leads to an inside area with a hot tub as well. The rooms are very spacious and have balconies with views of the Dolomites and small town. The breakfast is delicous with plenty of selections and includes made to order egg dishes and coffee drinks. Art is tasteful and located everywhere here. Take time to look at the walls and you'll find a Picasso or 2! The dinner was delicious and presentation was top notch! Really enjoyed our stay here.
