Great place to rest after a long day of sightseeingTraveling in a group of 6 people, we originally contacted the Roma Inn to stay in their property near the Vatican. Luca promptly responded to my email, and offered up an apartment that he owned near Termini Station for 22/per person per night. We paid 1/3 deposit via PayPal, and made arrangements with Luca for an early check-in. The apartment in and of itself isn't much to speak about, but it has plenty of comfortable beds, hot water, air conditioning, free wifi, and a kitchenette. Upon arrival, Luca gave us some recommendations for his favorite restaurants, many of which we went to and THOROUGHLY enjoyed. He was readily available to answer any questions we had, and was spot on with his tips/tricks for navigating the city. The best part of this property was its location. It was approximately two blocks from Termini station, that you can easily get to from Ciampino airport via a 40 minute bus/shuttle ride. The train station has a wonderful market in it that we ate breakfast at every morning before boarding public transportation to our destination for the day. All in all, if you are looking for a place to rest after a long day of sight seeing while trying to save some money for those fantastic Italian meals, this place is for you. I would, without a doubt, go back, but I tend to be more of a backpacking-type traveler that doesn't really need a lot to be happy.
