  Top destination for holiday

  Wonderful resort which I have visited during the last few days. They have superior quality of the room and services. The best is friendly staff which is always to assist you. We will come back ASAP. Food is mix of Italian and Egyptian. Evening program you will enjoy and you will be surprised every day.

  Fab sea life!!!

  After reading the many fantastic reviews we booked an all inclusive weeks relaxation here with diving in mind. The diving and snorkelling were amazing and didn't disappoint, especially seeing our first Dugong happy days. As for the hotel, it room was cleaned daily but not being sexiest but by a man and didn't really live up to my cleaning!! Especially the bathroom!! Beds are very very soft slept better on the sunbed during the day. Oh get up early as by 8am the beds are all reserved. As for the all inclusive if you want an alcohol drink past 9.45pm you have to pay. They'll tell you at the bar there is no more. Food was very variable and a good selection lunch and dinner. Lunch is the better time of day though for choice. Pasta cooked fresh to your liking. Eggs the same for breakfast. Daytime snacks were very dry pastries. The Ice cream freezer was emjpty but charged 2 if there was any. Some staff were very polite and contentive others rude and arrogant especially the pool bar. Beware of the toilets too around the pool, they were filthy every time I went in. Also accept your drinking out of plastic breakers for the duration of your holiday. Mixed emotions of the place, relaxing but......

  Bad stuff especially reception..

  The stuff especially at the reception not caring at all,they gave me room without terrace so I asked to change then they gave me another one air condition not working properly also the mini bar,dirty bed sheets then they said somebody will come to chk the a/c nobody did any thing till dinner when the chef offer to help us him and the restaurant manager I guess they sent somebody but nothing changed as it seems nothing they can do..it was our anniversary I already sent request for a king size room they gave me twin,the ruin my stay it was awful Next day we went for breakfast then to the room again the key card was not working so i went to the lady in the reception she gave me a normal key then the electricity not working so I called her she said you come to the reception and I will gave you a key card as we are busy when I said you must send someone she called back and sent house keeping with the card..the hotel it self the restaurant is good but with people who don't care everything could be ruined..those who helped us from the restaurant we are thankful (mr abulaziz and the chef)

  Laid back and secluded

  We very much enjoyed our stay at the resort which benefits from a secluded coastal location with access to a superb house reef. It is a great place to chill out but not for those seeking luxury and a range of entertainment. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the food was generally pretty good especially the choice of salads..the bread baked by Sumaya in the wood fired oven was a real highlight. The accommodation was ok apart from the soft mattress and cheap bedding. There is a friendly sense of community among the (mostly German and French) guests who mostly come for the diving and snorkelling. Be aware that there is often a strong breeze and sea current which can make snorkelling challenging if youre not a confident swimmer.

  Wonderful vacation spot with good value for your money

  Whether you are an avid diver/snorkeler looking to explore the perfect underwater location or a traveler looking for peace and quiet on the Red Sea, Rohanou Beach Resort does not disappoint. Located about 40 minutes from Marsa Alam and 1 hour from Hurghada near El Quesir village, and situated in a secluded coastal setting with access to a superb coastal reef, Rohanou is your answer. It is a great place to chill out but not for those seeking luxury and a range of entertainment. Swimming in the sea is permitted ONLY off the pier (so as not to damage the pristine coral reef which reaches the beach) or in the swimming pool. You can relax on one of the numerous sunbeds in the shade of the sun umbrellas by the sea or by the pool. The rooms are clean and equipped with a mini fridge, private bathroom, and some even with balconies overlooking the pool or with a sea view. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is generally very good and there is usually a variety of salads and food choices when the buffet is fully operational (most recently we were served at the table due to Covid-19 precautions). Fresh baked Egyptian bread is also prepared daily in the wood fired oven. There is a friendly sense of community among the guests (mostly German, French and some Italians) who come for the diving and snorkeling. A fully trained, operational and equipped diving center with experienced staff is located on-site (ready to take you on a variety of excursions as a diver or snorkeler) as well as a beauty/massage centre. This is the 3rd summer (and 4th visit) I have spent at Rohanou and it never disappoints. In spite of the Covid-19 restrictions (with which the hotel was fully compliant), the hotels general manager, Mr Osama Labib, made us feel welcome and safe, making our holiday extra special and memorable.
