  Good for the price!

  I've used this hotel twice while in Walterboro for the Welch Creek Baptist Church Camp Meeting. It is a great hotel for the price, and the rooms have always met my expectations as far as cleanliness. The only complaint would be that sometimes the area seems to be noisy.

  You get what you pay for

  The odor of old smoke was almost overwhelming. I decided to stay her as it was a long drive day and all I was going to do was sleep. Not a good choice. Staff was pleasant, but I kept worrying about bugs. It was not clean around the edges at all. Sheets were fine.

  Adequate .... Budget Lodging

  Older and Dated But A Good Deal For The Rate I Paid . Room Had Comfy Bed and a Sofa . Also Had Micro/Fridge . Average Cleanliness . Descent T.V. Channel Selections . Included a Very Basic Continental Breakfast .

  Avoid this dump.

  My stay was one of the most unpleasant ever in a hotel. Check in staff were indifferent. Room was dirty, reeked of smoke, and had 2 inches of standing water in the bath tub. When I returned to the front desk, two staff members were in the lounge watching TV; one finally agreed to change my room. Frankly, if I had not pre-paid for the room, i would have left for another hotel. Next room was at least serviceable and odor free, although less than clean. Bath fixtures showed heavy signs of wear and grime, mold was present around handles on the tub faucets. Trash was piled high on the landings, with every trash can over flowing (they were emptied overnight, however). When I left for dinner, someones' dog had left a huge pile of poop immediately in front of my room door. Doesn't Rodeway do any quality control on their franchisees?

  Hotel sucks!!!!! Stay away!!!

  If you are worrying about catching the Corona virus, stay here. It was late and we all ready paid so we were to tired to fight with the front desk. Room spelled of cat piss. Good thing we had sleeping bags and disinfection wipes. The room looked like it hasn't been cleaned in years. Cable did not work. Just overall filthy!!! Avoid this motel'
