Needed to Shower & SleepIf I could leave zero stars, I would. We needed a place to shower & sleep for a couple days because we had been driving for a few days and needed a break but didn't want to spend a lot of money. From prior experiences at Rodeway, I swore we'd never stay at one again. I booked thru Priceline's 1 star hotel booking where you don't know the name of the hotel until you book. Of course it was a nonrefundable room at this Rodeway. The room was filthy - long dark hairs in the supposedly clean towels and inside the shower curtain. All over the place! My hair is short and blonde and my husband's is short and grey so it wasn't ours! There was dirt all over the walls everywhere. The fridge and microwave were dirty inside. Overall it was filthy! Quiet?!?! Not! A train runs by every so often. I jumped out of a deep sleep. Then the truckers are coming & going all day and night. I don't mind that -- its their job. But, at about 1 am, there was loud knock on the door. I thought it was our door but, it was the guest next door. The local police were there and they brought the guy outside in his boxers and cuffed him up and then they proceeded to toss the room all night and not very quietly. Needless to say--no sleep that night. Id rather sleep in the car and not shower rather than stay in that filth and be neighbors with who knows?!?!

Disrepair and NoisyThis noisy hotel was rundown, dirty, and soooo noisy! Train tracks next door, paper-thin walls, a brusque employee and cigarette burn holes in the bedspread in our non-smoking room. Yuck! 10 miles down 1-10 sit several nicer spots. Dont stay here !!

UghPrice for truckers could be better. Room is semi spacious, very outdated and dirty. Floor was filthy, bathroom had mold, towels smelled. The bed bowed in the middle, hard and very uncomfortable. I could hear the conversation from the people next door due to the walls being paper thin.

Good room for a good priceClean room with e extremely clean bathroom. Looked as though the room had flooded in the past. The walls were stained and in need of painting but it was clean and did not smell like it had flooded. Good price for the area.

Keep Away from this placeIf you've read some of the reviews below you'll realize this isn't the grandest of places -- especially if you want to sleep with train tracks right next door and heavy trains loudly going past. I had a negative experience with the owner, Nero, that just goes to show how elements of customer service or decency have gone out the window. I made a mistake and doublebooked this motel and another one for the same night. In fact, I wanted to stay at the other place the first night and then drive down here for the following night. It was my fault -- I was tired and booked the same night twice. The Choice booking system did not stop a duplicate reservation. I phoned Choice Motels to ask if I could do a deal: I was prepared to pay for the night I really wanted but, if I did that, could I swap the wrongly booked night for a subsequent (second) night if the place wasn't sold out? I wasn't planning to stay in this location an extra night, but if this could be arranged the hotel wouldn't lose any money -- just allocate a room that would have otherwise gone empty to replace the one I'd erroneously paid for -- and would gain the payment for the night I actually wanted! (so I would be staying two nights and paying two nights). Choice customer service found my request reasonable and phoned the motel for me, but they said the owner needed to be contacted. So I emailed him and got a negative response. It's true: he was entitled to keep the money for the night I erroneously booked and did not have to do anything, but he could have cooperated at no cost to himself while still having two nights revenue for the two nights stayed. The owner's cold attitude indicates a form of greed that is highly unattractive and makes a stay at his property even less desirable than indicated by many other reviewers below. I'd recommend staying elsewhere, especially the very nice Comfort Inn Suites Ontario, also part of Choice Hotels, and that I've found offers fantastically good service as well as a friendly customer-oriented environment.
