  Great basic hotel!

  If you are looking for a clean, basic hotel room, this Rodeway Inn is for you. It was by far the cheapest "chain" hotel room we found in Rhinelander. We weren't looking for anything fancy, we just needed a comfortable hotel room for one night, and this hotel met our expectations. It may not have a pool or hottub, it may not have a fancy lobby, and the outside of the hotel and parking lot might look a little shabby, but the hotel does serve a basic continental breakfast, there is a microwave and refrigerator in each room, and the beds and bed linens were very comfortable. Our room was very clean and the hotel was quiet, even though there seemed to be quite a few guests staying the night we were there. I am guessing that MAYBE because there is no pool, that might make families with children choose a different hotel? We only saw adults during our stay. A nice plus was that this hotel has a river running right behind it, and the hotel provides chairs and a fire pit (with free firewood!) for guests so that they can enjoy sitting outside by the river. Francis, although super busy checking in a lot of people when we arrived, was friendly and very helpful. We were pleased with our stay and would definitely consider this hotel again if we find ourselves in Rhinelander again and just want a clean, comfortable and basic hotel room for an evening!

  Fantastic All Around

  We stayed here for the price combined with the comment they left on here sticking up for being per friendly. Much appreciated that we could bring our dog! We had a great stay. Comfy bed and pillows, extremely quiet, spotlessly clean and the free breakfast was awesome. If we ever come back to this area I'd absolutely stay here again.

  older hotel but very clean

  this place charged our company half the price of other locations and hotel was very clean, had a lake right outside with small park type of location to enjoy the outdoors. only con is the beds are not top quality.

  GREAT Sleep

  There isn't much left to add to all the other reviews. The mattress was like sleeping on a cloud. Can't remember when I slept so well at a motel. The breakfast was very basic, but adequate. There were waffles.

  Not bad!

  Needed a reasonably priced room for my daughter and I to stay near Eagle River as she had an ice skating camp to attend there. Note that there are no elevators. The room was small but acceptably clean and the beds were comfortable with ample numbers of pillows. Hall and stairway carpets could have used a good vacuuming but the room provided what we needed and didn't break the bank. Staff were pleasant. Breakfast offerings were minimal, we chose to stop at Kwik Trip instead. There was a very large dog inhabiting a room on the main floor that barked endlessly when we quietly passed by en route to the stairs. I didn't know large, noisy dogs were allowed, I would have hated to be occupying a room nearby.
