  Confortable y buen precio

  Este hotel es mi favorito para alojarme cuando voy para alamo gordo nuevo mexico, desde hace 20 años lo conozco y es tranquilo, tiene comodas habitaciones, alberca e incluye el desayuno americano, lo recomiendo.

  Old property, some maintenance and remodels but needs more. Cheap chain property for Alamogordo.

  First, a story. This property used to be the Satellite Inn (the old sign is rusting in the swimming pool). In the late 80's I worked for a contractor with business at Holloman AFB. Satellite was my choice for cheap lodging during occasional work trips to Alamogordo. One time I started feeling feverish as I stopped in Carrizozo for gas. By the time I reached the motel I was running a high fever. Delirious, I stayed in the motel room for a day and a half, with only MTV running Genesis' 'Land of Confusion' (the one with the Reagan and Thatcher puppets) video in HEAVY rotation for company. The property is slightly improved from those days. Barely better cable TV and good internet service would have made my convalescence much more pleasant. If you want to shower off the cold sweats, the water will hit you in the neck unless you stoop. Need some coffee to shape up for work? Try the Starbucks down the street or bring your own. The room did have a microwave and an old dorm-sized fridge that kept stuff cold, so for bare-bones lodging with your own low-budget resources, this place will do, but keep your expectations in check, and I hope you don't have to use this place as a sickbed.

  Great for the price!

  I read some bad reviews but our room was actually nice. The price was great and the room was recently remodeled. Breakfast was simple cereal or cinnamon rolls. Juice. Nothing fancy but free and enough to start your morning. Room was clean and fairly roomy

  Central location, budget-friendly, pet-friendly: Perfect!

  Moving to Alamogordo for retirement (the place where Id been/become the proverbial glimmer in my dads eye) was an adventure ... primarily because I was unsure of my FINAL landing spot. Thankfully, the new owners here welcomed me and my beloved companions (cats), and provided all that WE {on my minimal / early-retirement budget} needed...! Wi-Fi worked GREAT for much comparison-shopping and preliminary footwork. Wonderful a/c, water pressure, coffee/juice/danish bfasts ... could not have asked for anything more! Thank-yall SO much, for blessing the end of my journey, here(!) ~

  Rundown and Cigarette Smoke

  For someone who's asthma is set off at the slightest scent of cigarette smoke; it was not a pleasant thing to experience in the lobby at check in. I did not smell it when i got out of the car but it was overwhelming in the office. Good thing check in did not take long. Not sure if cops run at night with sirens or not..it was noisy from cops until about 10:00 p.m. Trains went through about 2 or 3 times during the night. Breakfast really an overhaul. Nothing much in regards to options. Bed was very comfortable.
