    Great Customer Service

    We had a hard time finding this hotel even with MapQuest in the dark. We finally called and found out that we had to check in at a main center for 3 other hotels. The Rodeway is an older hotel and in the process of being updated. We had the blessing in being in a very large completely renovated room. We didn't realize it until morning but it is a few short steps from the falls and a river. Beautiful! Dani, the front desk person gave me directions to the room but I was very tired and had to come back and ask again. She actually walked me to the room as my husband followed along in the car!!! She was so sweet and patient with us that we could hardly believe it! She is a star! The next morning I went to the office to drop off the keys, get a receipt and sing my praises for Dani. Shannon Anderson, the "handy man" helped me because the regular front desk person was busy. He was as wonderful as Dani. I took my receipt to put in the trunk and realized that I had left my overnight bag in the room. I went back in and Shannon walked me to the room and opened it up so I could get my bag and was very kind about it. Dani and Shannon deserve gold stars and more! Thank you!

    Falsely advertised

    The Worst Clarion property I have ever stayed at. Due to a tournament we could not get other lodging or we would have. Manager and front desk attendant both lied about why swimming pool wasnt open as promised. Maintenance man said owner finally decided to sign one year lease last week. Entire facility has been shut down since last fall. Cobwebs in room, trash under beds, dust everywhere, swimming pool in disrepair, junk vehicles in parking lot, homeless sleeping in car by entry way, corridor lights broken and not working, tub area has mold, window screens are missing or torn through out facility, beds are terrible, linens and towels are stained, no iron, no ironing board, maid service is non existent. Room smells . Toilet seat wobbles.Tub not clean. Lights in room dont work. Hotel doesnt have replacement bulbs. Front desk after being asked said full buffet was up and running. It wasnt ! Morning attendant said they shouldnt have said that. She was a pleasant surprise and acted like a true customer service agent should. Maintenance guy was very honest as well

    Not As Bad As It May Appear

    I will attach pictures. Driving around the place you may want to keep driving---away. BUT, before you get rash, you may wish to look at a room. Our room was clean and frankly, very nice. They had two pillows; one soft one and one hard one. The beds were good. The place smelled good. Breakfast was excellent with the covid deal on. Many hotels only have a quicky breakfast. This one was located in the Quality Inn and though there were not the regular items on the steam table, we did have HOT waffles, three juices and other good eats to take back to our room. Yes, the outside of the place looked bad with peeling paint and weedy areas, these things could be cleaned up and painted in a couple days by a good worker. Our kids played in the pool with a half dozen other kids and had a great time. Yes, I would say that this place is at least average, and in many cases, better! It is just across from the historic Falls. I definitely would stay here again.

    Holy craphole visually

    Really quick review and I hate leaving bad reviews but this is second place in a row. Front desk started yelling at me because i asked about using the pool and they neglected to tell me and my girl about time slots to use it. Secondly, three requests for towels. Thirdly, "residents" here are slobs, cigarettes thrown on thekoi ground next to garbage pales. The rooms are average but when you add in "subtract" the peripherals, not a great spot. Please stay in surrounding hotels. Almost forgot, sheriff's here doing investigation day 1

    Don't. Just don't.

    Drive by. You'd be better off sleeping in a park. Where to begin? The paper thin walls where you can hear everything, the utter and complete lack of maintenance as everywhere you look there is something broken, peeling, filthy, or basically ignored. Overflowing garbage cans l, we found someone else's flip flops in the room as they don't clean adequately , a pool that is crumbling and unheated. NO working AIr conditioning. We even went so far as to ask the maintenance man to look at it. His solution. Turn it up to 68 degrees. Wtf is the point of AC if you can't cool off a room. A 15.00 per night pet fee compared to a flat rate at any other hotel we have stayed at. Don't waste your money. If I could give it zero stars I would!!!
