  Rodeway may be good if you're on the road only!

  It wasn't the worst motel we've ever stayed at...but it wasn't great. The staff were nice and the room was clean...but that's about it. Pretty run down and old. So much light throughout the night as well as noise (outside, fridge)...internet was HORRIBLE! I guess if you just need a quick place to spend the night it's pretty cheap for the area.

  After an incredible trip to Silverwood and a good meal at the Olive garden my fiance and I and our friends went to check into the hotel for the night. The attendant at the front desk informed us that our double queen room had been "upgraded" to a single king room. I asked her how 4 people we supposed to sleep in one bed. With an absolutely dumb founded look she said "I don't know." This reservation was booked over a month in advance for a busy weekend there were no other rooms anywhere close to Silverwood. I asked for a second time "how are you going to make this right?" Again the response was "I don't know, you're lucky to even have a room here." Due to this neglect of customer service and lack of decent problem solving skills we had no choice but to drive 5 hours home in the middle of the night. I generously left a one star review because they did refund the $200 for the "upgraded room". We did consider staying and making it work but I refuse to pay $200 for a night on the floor. Not only would I not recommend the Rodeway Inn to my friends and family I would not recommend this miss managed hotel to my worst enemy.

  Worst Motel Ever

  This motel was awful. I booked this room because there was a microwave & small fridge included. Neither were in the room. I got in town 5 hours early & stopped to check the reservation. Motel confirmed reservation but didnt inform me that their website was wrong regarding what was in the room. The roof had mold, the base of the wall had mold & was dirty, the bathroom fan didnt work, & there was a shoe & legos from the previous occupants under the bed. How much did they really clean the room before re-renting it if they didn't check under the bed? Gross! The light for the bathroom was inside a closet behind a door that opens the opposite way. Very hard to find the switch in the dark. There was no night security latch on the door & our door was external to the motel not internal. Everything about this place was disgusting. I will never stay here again & likely will never stay at a Choice Hotel property. If this is Choice Hotels standard then I dont want any part of it.

  Closest to Silverwood!

  This hotel is the closest one to Silverwood, and at a reasonable price (for the area). It is an old motel, which was expected and is in a pretty safe neighborhood. Dont expect this to be a 5 or even 4 star motel - it is a place to sleep - comfortably - and with a hot shower and toilet (truly better than camping). If you bring your flip flops to walk around the room in and dont expect it to be a Hilton - youll go to bed from a fun day at Silverwood and then head home!!!

  A refreshing surprise....

  So after years of using Hotels.com, I decided to give Choice Hotels a spin. I recently was moving into the North Idaho area and needed a place for an extended stay. I first decided to stay in the Spokane Washington area at another Hotel under the Choice brand. Let us just say it was not a good experience for myself and my family and the fight with Choice isn't over yet with the other chain under Choices' brand... I decided however to give it another chance and hesitantly chose the Rodeway Inn directly in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. First off, I can't speak for other reviews in the past but WOW, what a difference. How this Hotel has been rated so poorly is beyond me. We initially came in and had an issue with the wireless internet I need for work, but a simple call to the front office handled that as they quickly moved us to another room. My only suggestion is to have someone redo & secure the networking when possible as it often drops off and must be signed back into, but far from a deal-breaker. With that being said, the rooms were spacious, clean, & with plenty of anything needed in a budget-conscious room. The staff were amazing, from Tina in the front office to Andrea in housekeeping. Friendly and so helpful with any request or item needed. It single-handedly will be the reason, compared to my other stay, that I will continue to give any Rodeway Inn under the Choice brand my continued business in the future! Keep up the GREAT work...
