  You get what you pay for

  Good as a place to rest your head for a few hours while traveling through. Renovated hotel that is already fraying at the edges. Small, cramped parking lot. Close to downtown Murfreesboro. Low priced, but not terrible.

  Just the basics for the budget traveler

  Small, clean, budget friendly hotel. Nothing special, but clean and in a safe area. You could see the hotel was doing some updates. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would probably stay again.

  Great find!

  Didnt wanna pay $190 in Shelbyville so we drove here and saved $110! So glad we did! This is one of the cleanest rooms weve stayed in! Looks recently remodeled and they did a good job! Every hotel should have laminate flooring instead of carpet because carpet will eventually mildew , stain and stink! So if you can live without a pool or free breakfast this is it!

  Good, Basic Lodging

  This is a big weekend in Murfreesboro with a big concert and wrestling match; Ive heard. Im visiting family and only needed a place to sleep for a night. The Rodeway Inn is more than $100 less than our normal place to stay here, so I booked it based on the OK to positive reviews. Its very basic, but a fine enough place to stay. No lobby, no breakfast, no pool, outdoor entrances to rooms, etc. Its an old property, but its recently been renovated. There is no carpet in the rooms, but a nice laminated wood floor in the room and tiles in the bathroom which look like wood. The beds are comfortable and I slept well. You can hear some of the road noise, but Im on the upper, 2nd floor, and heard no noise from other guests. The TV has more channels than Ive seen in a while and there is the usual small microwave oven and fridge. There is a hanging rack and hangers for clothes, but its external, no closet. The desk clerk / property manager was very friendly and helpful when I checked in and offered to make space in the tight parking lot if it appeared full when I return after dinner. I gave only 3 stars, because its only got a guest laundry and nothing else besides the rooms, that I know of. For the cleanliness and comfort of the room it deserves 4 stars. I may come back, and hope the same manager is still working here.

  Basic budget hotel - fine for overnight

  If you need a place to rest your head for a few hours and you are working on a slim budget, this motel is OK. The room, sheets, and towels were clean, I slept fine, and the hot water worked. There was a refrigerator and a microwave, and an ice machine around the corner. It is half the cost of a preferred hotel brand, so expectations need to be lowered accordingly.
