  Yet another "bring your own cleaning rag" hole in the wall

  Where do I begin....... First and foremost I should have known better than to stay at a (excuse my "choice" of words) bottom feeder Choice hotel. Check in went so-so ( had to break out my English-Hindi translation book). Got to the room, below standard as far as cleanliness is concerned. The fridge AND micro were filthy. I decided to clean it as I wasn't prepared to break out my book again (next guest will be happy). Next, decided to give the room the "white sock" test, the room failed miserably as socks were "discolored", so, with all this behind me I went looking for dust and found plenty of it, cleaned that too. Next were the beds, enough hair to make a small ball. Now that room was clean. I could anticipate sleeping (after so much cleaning I was tired). Other amenities that were missing; coffee, clean towels (scratchy), a voucher for a free breakfast item, courteous staff....... the list could be longer. I have learned my lesson.

  A dumpster is an upgrade

  I don't care if there was a zombie apocalypse, and the only safe haven was this hotel, just go on ahead and let the zombies eat you. You'd be better off. The room was FILTHY, and that's coming from someone who doesn't have high standards. There was dirty, greasy fingernail smudge around the light switches. The door didn't close fully, and you could hear the traffic from the highway as if it was in your room right along with you. It was 18 degrees and there was no heat. They did not switch my room, told me they would fix it. I waited 45 minutes, and then went down the street to a real hotel, you know, with a manangement staff that has an idea of what hygeine is. I will NEVER, EVER EVER EVER stay at another RoachWay Inn. Whoever said this was a nice hotel must be comparing it to Japan after Nagasaki got bombed.

  DO NOT GO HERE!!

  Warning!! We had a reservations booking.com $63. When we got there was told new owner so no reservations, no computer, no booking.com & price was $79.99 cash only. Very shady! Place is a dump! Lobby was dirty. Couldn't pay me to stay there! NEVER pay cash when have your info & credit card number! Couldn't leave fast enough!

  Mansfield Inn, hasn't been a Rodeway Inn

  Being there is usually at LEAST one Motel off nearly any exit off an interstate, I don't tolerate too much crap . I booked this motel off of Oblitz for 4 nights. When I arrived at the motel I was shocked by the shabbiness of the property. Since the review were dubious at best, I requested to see my room before checking in. I'd much rather pay a night's fee for a pentalty than being stuck in a horrible, scary motel. Well the owner says there are no smoking rooms available even though I had booked the last smoking room available. It wasn't so much what he said but the way he said it. It may be acceptable to speak to paying customers in a disrespectful, argumentative way in the country he comes from but in my country I won't tolerate it. I thanked him for saving me alot of trouble &left. I immediately phoned Orbitz & they resolved the matter so no charges were placed on my credit card which I feel this slimeball would have done. Thank you Orbitz & drop this property fast. AVOID THIS PLACE!!! It won't be long until he is renting his rooms by the hour anyway. Perhaps he already deals with this type of clientele and would explain his attitude

  for 48 bucks it was great!

  normally I would choose something a little more upscale but my band was playing at the attached bar and I didnt want to drive home after drinking. I was pleasantly surprised at the room.111. there were some recent updates like paint and the bathroom vanity area. new carpet is needed thruout. new tile floor in bathroom and sink area tho.. towels and bed clothes were clean. Much better than a super 8 I stayed at recently and much cheaper. Front desk guy was friendly and got me a cup of coffee from the bar in the morning because I got up late. I will stay there again if the need arrises.
