Very disappointed in Choice on this one

From the outside this looks like a very nice motel. Unfortunately that is not the case. I checked in, the person was new, very nice friendly. Too 45 min to an hour to check in. I unfortunately did not check out the room. I towed my car through the Desert and it was very dirty. I need to pick up some of the supplies and get my car washed. It was probably a couple hours at least before I actually checked into the room. As I enter the room the first thing I notice is that there's a big mirror that should be hanging on the wall that's laying on the floor. The bed while was made it was obvious not completely made. TV refrigerator everything was unplugged. I reach down to plug the items in and noticed there's no cover on the electrical outlet. Looking around the rooms I noticed that none of the outlets a plug-in covers. I proceed to plug in the TV into my surprise it comes on but what is on is a porn movie. I grabbed the remote try to change the station but it will not change. Call the front desk let them know and they said they'd send a maintenance guy out to fix the problem. The more I look around at his side this is not the place I want to be and I let them know that I won't be here for two nights not even one that I'm out of here. I'm informed of the policy that I've been there too long I checked into three hours ago and I'm just now complaining that I would be charge for at least one night but they would upgrade me to their more expensive elite room. I'm not happy but I go check out the other room and it really is many better the only differences the bed is made up. I'm tired decide not to argue and fight about it then I would do the one night and MoveOn. I close the door and what do I see a piece of toilet paper plug in the door where you look to see who's knocking at your door. I look up and there is a sock over the smoke detector.

    This was the Pits!

DO NOT STOP HERE!!!! I've stayed in hundreds of hotels across the country and by far, this was the worst hotel I have ever stay at. All of the "non-smoking" rooms had been smoked in, the carpeting was thread-bare and coming up at the door, the toilet kept running all night, the bathroom light bulb was burned out in the first room I had, furniture was falling apart, the list goes on and on. If I hadn't been on the road for 18 hours and needed to sleep, I would have found another hotel but there were no other options within miles. Do yourself a favor and just keep going, do not waste your time and money at this laughable hotel!!

Very Helpful with last minute needs for a room due to other complications at 1am

I tried this hotel before when it was Knights Inn and said NO WAY to the conditions of the outside alone before. It is now Rodeway Inn and they are at least trying to make it better. There wifi was terrible and my reception for my cp was horrible. Keep in mind there is always a deposit necessary to stay and the area it is in is not good because it is in Stockton I stayed there two nights and saw police and sheriff there three times for whatever instances had happened but its not a good feeling at 1am to have a sheriff drive up while you are trying to register and say you called for assistance with whatever it was a person in a car or who cares they had to call the law on it. I am glad I had a male friends with me. Stockton is a pit. Only reason I went is I had superior court date.

    Speechless

Looks really nice on the outside- inside found trash behind the door (clerk commenting how she was just in the room today) and between the bed and night stand. Towels to the bathroom were on one of the beds as a cute little animal. (If your going to do that, have an extra towel in the bathroom) bedside lamps not plugged in. WiFi sucks!! What got me was the price!!! They dont tell you the price +deposit until your almost done reserving the room... online showed $74, I paid $95 for one night plus a deposit of $60. You get the $60 back (if room is how you found it) but dang!! When questioned the online amount, you have to reserve the room through them Pros: place to sleep and shower, near highway Cons: price, parking, no pets (website states pet friendly), room is shotty

    Good night's sleep

We needed an inexpensive place to stay for one night while we visited family. The price was great and they had a king bed on the ground floor. It was just off the freeway, so we didn't expect premium accommodations. The lobby looked like it had been recently remodeled and was very clean, and the woman who checked us in was personable and friendly. Our room was in a building in the back of the property and wasn't quite as inviting as the rooms in the front. The room was small and badly in need of updating. The microwave and fridge had been removed with just the empty case, full of mildew, left in the room. No amenities besides handsoap and shampoo. The bathroom was small with no counter space, and the shower was a tiny little stall in the corner of the bathroom that you had to step down into. All very outdated. However, the need was clean and extremely comfortable. Because we were in the back of the property, it was quiet and we got a great night's sleep.
