    Breathtaking, Serene and beautiful

Well just back from this amazing vacation which happened to be a part of our anniversary celebration and honestly I am so happy that I changed my mind at the last moment and decided to stay in north Goa... Well well..now lets talk about this amazing resort..it caught my eye during the search and was kinda hooked on to it for its amazing location but became a little sceptical due to few negative reviews on trip advisor, but then I decided to look at the positive side took the plunge and booked it..after booking(on agoda) I received a welcome message from the hotel which was the first indication that these guys actually care.. So I replied and informed them about my apprehensions as well and to my satisfaction received a reassuring message from the resort, well after a long ride we reached the resort and the first word that came in to my mind was "Wow".. we reached the hotel at around 9.30am and Chek in time being 1 pm meant that we had to wait but the Extremely polite receptionist got us an early check in and we were all set by around 10.30 which was amazing.. The room we booked was not sea facing but I became a little greedy and asked the receptionist if the room can be upgraded to a sea veiw one.. and to our happiness one room became available the following day and there we were in an awsome room with full sea veiw on two sides....even breathtaking is an understatement for the veiw..both me and my wife were really happy.. We made sure that we reach the room before sunset and watch the sun go down from our balcony and then would sit there till mid night discussing anything.. The soothing sound made by the waves was so comforting and refreshing that it would transport you in to different world.. Food, hospitality cleanliness all excellent, one of very few pet friendly places in Goa which is a bonus for furry friend lovers, the location is something I am still speachless about... I want to say a big Thank you to the entire team of Rococco for making our stay wonderful .... this beautiful resort will definitely be a part of all my Goa trips henceforth.... My future Goa trips... :)

    DON'T. Just DON'T.

DON'T. Just DON'T. You'll see Rococco's pictures on the internet, they'll be flowery and pretty. You'll read Rococco's reviews on the internet, all full of praises. You'll book a room at Rococco, it'll be super expensive, and then you'll think "Maybe it's worth it". Well, IT'S NOT. We stayed at Rococco (A couple and a dog) at an exorbitant tariff of Rs. 6,800 a night. The troubles start from when you enter. It's 'premium' only on paper (and price). Unlike most 'premium' properties, you HAVE to pay for your entire stay, at the reception, before you check-in to your room. Weird, but okay. We hauled our own luggage, because 'We didn't ask anyone to get it from the car'. Must've been my fault. The room was puny, with torn rugs, a torn blanket, poorly sewed up in the corner to hide the damage (wow, so premium, right?), had a small balcony which faces the sea (yay!) We had driven for 12 hours, so we decided to take a nap. In the Goa heat (and the 'premium' charge), ACs are basic. Well, we had an AC (no fan) in the room, but it doesn't work in the daytime because of 'load shedding issues'. While they do have a solution to that, a backup generator, it is switched on for 10-15 min, only when someone complains and then, back to square one. Although it is 'premium', you get only a low grade soap, non-branded shampoo and conditioner in the room. The dental kit, although from a 'premium' property is to be paid for. And body lotion, well, no. Now, the night time. We came back from exploring around (we headed out because the AC wasn't working), we open the balcony and voila! There's a bunch of men sitting right under, playing loud music and eye balling women. When we contacted the staff, we were told that it's public space and nothing can be done till 11 PM. LOL The Premium Breakfast Buffet: It's the same food every single day. Bananas, Watermelon, Eggs, Poori, Chana, Bread, Butter and Omelette. They made (sad) pancakes that looked like 'cheelas', one day, but after one serving, they removed it. lol The Housekeeping was super lethargic, so much so, that they even forgot to dust the mats or even clean the used cutlery/crockery in the room. Maybe that's how it is done at 'PREMIUM' properties. We had food (apart from the buffet) only once at the property, I'd say it was nice. Wouldn't take it away from them. Hope they had the same team do the breakfast as well, would've given a break from the monotony, that is their breakfast. Our check-out involved a guy asking my wife and me, thrice "Have you returned the keys?". The same guy saw my wife and me hauling our luggage to the car, but didn't give a flying fox. When I later pointed it out, he said the same thing as he did when we checked in: "You never asked". Well, I would not recommend anyone to waste their money and spoil their mood by staying at Rococco. There're others who do it much better, at much cheaper prices. Spend the money you save on good food, water sports and many other things that Goa has to happen. Once again, DON'T, just, DON'T.

    Nope!!!!

I am usually a very generous rater but Rococco forced me to change myself. Room- unclean, small,ac doesnt work no matter what. Beds - I wonder if the sheets have been changed or washed ever. Yes its that dirty. Bathtub- I felt dirtier after bathing in the tub since it was that disgusting. Did I mention the AC doesnt work? Because the rooms dont have fans. So all you can do is sit and sulk about the AC coz that wont change. WiFi. Dont think the hotel has ever heard of it because they give you 3 passwords and link names but I can assure you none of them would work no matter how hard you try. It only asks you to move closer. But to what? Since I was staying right in front of the reception. It probably meant my home WiFi. Coming to breakfast- same options every day. N they charge you 300 for that. Poori. Chana. Oatmeal. Bread. Thats all. Their tea is pathetic and if you want to have coffee you gotta make it yourself with milk coffee packs n sugar. But atleast that would be drinkable unlike the tea. So much so that we decided to celebrate our new year with the next door resort and not rococco. The only reason I rated it poor and not terrible is because of the location coz thats amazing. And the food from the menu. The food is extremely delicious. Also their front desk manager Susha is a helpful lady and few of the housekeeping folks are fine. Apart from these, its pathetic and I dont see myself staying there ever.

Pathetic Pathetic & Pathetic. Just Don't go.

Just don't. I had booked a room after looking at the reviews and pictures and had paid around Rs. 8000 per night. This was one of my biggest mistake. The room was really small and in a pathetic condition plus it was on the road side without any provision for ventilation. The hotel is being run by some foreigner. I asked her to cancel my room for two days which she refused as it was tourist season. I tried to reason with her that if its a tourist season then she can profits by charging some fee for cancellation and giving the room on premium to some other customer but she refused. I was given an upgrade after huge arguments but still the new room was same, just bigger in size. The resort does not have any kind of security. Any one can enter from any side. I was given a room next to bike shop which itself is pathetic. In breakfast the only thing vegetarians get is poori with sabzi and watermelons and bananas. The only plus point was the front view which you could have got in any resort. We spent most of the time travelling but our mood was spoilt every time we went back to the resort. Thought of going back to the property was enough to spoil your mood. One of the person sought an extension on 2nd and it was provided for Rs. 2000/-. Don't go by reviews, if you are spending more than 2 grands, just don't choose this property. it's not worth the money. They are selling it like premium property which it is not. I would not call it even 2 starts property that too after considering the beach view.

    Fantastic location , great service

Nice resort to spend a couple of days at. The Resort is right on the beach. The restaurant is reasonable, beer is cheap and their barbequed chicken is something i recommend. Tip: always ask for the sea facing room. The rooms near the reception are noisy due to the power generator and aircon.
