  Pre chemotherapy getaway

  An absolutely lovely b n b in Blackpool. The owners Sue n Tony were great hosts nothing too much trouble. The rooms were spotlessly clean and tidy breakfast absolutely fantastic. As b n b go first class service from the hosts to the rooms and breakfast. Already looking forward to going back again.

  What a gem of a hotel

  Tony and sue cant do enough for you,the breakfast is the best I have had in a hotel, all food is top quality not your normal hotel food. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable, I can definitely recommend the rocklea.

  Good value for money

  Stayed at the Rocklea for 7 nights with my wife and our 20 year old son while visiting our other son who works in Blackpool. Sue and Tony are the excellent hosts, treating guests like old friends. Room was a bit tight for the three of us but still OK. Full English breakfast will keep you going for long hours!! Excellent location about 10 minutes walk away from the sea front.

  Totally excellent stay from the minute we arrived to the minute we left. Down to earth and very friendly nothing to much trouble. Breakfast set us up for the day. Hotel is central and a pleasant walk of about 10 minutes to the front. Bedrooms clean and tidy. Bed was low to the floor but comfy and we got a really good sleep. Would definitely stay there again.   Great Stay, Lovely Hosts

  We decided on a night that we'd spend two nights in Blackpool and booked Rocklea for the next day. After booking I rang at 9oclock to ask about parking and spoke to Sue, what a lovely lady! she confirmed we'd have parking and i apologised for the late call. On arrival we were greeted by Sue and led to our room by Tony. Both Hosts Sue and Tony couldn't have been nicer, they were both exceptional. The room was clean and featured adequate space for the four of us to stay. In the morning we went downstairs to a home cooked English Breakfast Tea/Coffee and Orange juice again exceptional and big enough that I couldn't finish it all! The accommodation is situated within easy walking distance of Blackpools attractions so we never used our car during our stay. We would recommend Rocklea to any families after a short stay in Blackpool and we would definitely stay here again too!
