  Hotel de ensueño

  He estado 3 días en este hotel por trabajo. La ubicación está muy bien. El hotel es muy bonito. Me gusta mucho mi habitación porque estaba muy limpia, cama muy cómodas, televisor grande y con máquina para café. Me sorprendieron gratamente los recepcionistas y todo el equipo del hotel, son muy profesionales, amables y simpáticos. La comidas en el restaurante rica y variada. Me gusta mucho el postre rock noir (especialidad del restaurante). Volvería a repetir si tuviera la oportunidad de volver. Genial. Un diez.

  Great hotel, poor spa

  We have recently stayed at the wonderful Rock Noir hotel for our skiing trip. In terms of location, it is great, as it is right across from the Avaret lift. The hotel design is very good and our room was lovely. The staff are great and helpful and the breakfasts were good. There is good ski storage with heated holders for your boots. The spa needs a lot of attention. It almost seems that the designer forgot about it. There are not enough sunbeds and there is a noisy a/c unit dominating one end. The sauna door would not close properly and there was rarely jugs of water for the guests. There is no music, teas or love which is a shame as, after a hard days skiing, a spa is a perfect place to relax.

  A very enjoyable place to stay

  Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast good. Rooms small and easily got overheated and heating had to be turned off. Wonderful position opposite cable car. Sauna was much too hot. Lounge are comfortable . Very good for children

  Cosy rooms with friendly, attentive staff and excellent restaurant. Brilliant for ski-in, ski-out

  Fabulous boutique hotel situated at the foot of the mountain. Amazing ski in ski out hotel. The staff were friendly, extremely attentive and gave us a very warm welcome. The rooms are cosy, well designed and quiet, although way too hot. The radiators were on full blast throughout the hotel the entire time we were there and it was stifling. Facilities include a small pool and sauna, which were enjoyable to use after a days skiing. The glass door on the sauna needs fixing as it is very difficult to open, and the sauna, like the rest of the hotel, is perhaps over-hot if that is possible. Breakfast is absolutely yummy everything was laid out beautifully and there was nothing missing. Options ranged from muesli, cereal, oats and dried fruits to classic French pastries as well as eggs and bacon. The hotel is very beautifully designed and has a classic, minimal style. We also ate dinner here one night. We hadnt planned on eating here as the hotel doesnt do anything to advertise the restaurant or encourage its guests to have a meal here (for example offering discounts or providing a bottle of wine if you dine), and the atmosphere always seemed very lacking in the restaurant. We did end up having dinner here one night though and the food was really good. I had the best vegetarian burger I have ever had, and the kids chicken nuggets were beautifully home-made and good quality meat. My advice to the hotel would be to work harder to advertise the restaurant the cooking is very good and I think the restaurant could do with more people benefiting from the chef skills!

  Very nice staff

  Family of 4 with two teenagers we spent three nights at this place. We loved the staff, very nice, young always smiling. We had diner at the hotel the three nights and really enjoyed the food. Great restaurant!! The rooms are nice but a bit tiny. Weve been disappointed by the spa (not much of a SPA actually).
