Un encantoEl camping es un sitio precioso. Fuimos fuera de temporada y nos salio muy barato. Esta algo lejos de la civilizacion si buscas fiesta. Es un sitio para ir in verano y disfrutarlo. A mi me encanto.

Too far from the beach1We had a bungalow in a good, central area of the park. On two days I carefully checked the distance to the beach on my cell app and it's far longer than noted on the campground's website... it was .75 miles or 1.2 km... not 600 meters as the website states. The facilities are in good condition, but with that kind of distance between your bungalow and the beach, you don't make a quick trip back if you forget to bring something... and for those of us who do not walk comfortably, it makes it hard to go to the beach.

RIPOFF// PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKINGThis place is just beyond. Sadly in a negative way. Please take your time to read the staggering 85 ONE Star Reviews (per Aug/19). I should have done so too, so I wouldnt be writing one myself. The management of Le Rocchette does one thing very well: Invest into Google Ads to get you on their homepage. Fool you with perfect pictures, charge for almost everything extra (changing of sheets, changing of towels, cleaning of the bungalow, club card), to then disappoint you and tell you its all your fault. Reading the reviews from two years ago, theyre absolutely unwilling to learn anything from the reviews. Maximum revenue for the owner seems to be the goal here. So whats disappointing: -As mentioned in an other reviews: High gloss pictures, disappointing reality -The camping village has seen better days (or somebodys really good at photographing) -Maintenance of the grounds seems to have been put on hold for months if not years -1,5 hours waiting time for check-in (arriving on Saturday afternoon) -Room ok, but not as clean as I or anyone could expect for a whopping 185 EUR a day -Dishes, glasses greasy (will come back to this subject later on) -Fees everywhere (transparent at the booking process, but not fully) Examples: 2 EUR for a sunbed by the pool, 2 sunbeds and a sun umbrella at the private beach go for about 85 EUR a week. Changing bed sheets 10 EUR per person, cleaning 25 EUR, -Dishes have to be washed by yourself in the end, bc you know final cleaning is included but excludes the kitchen cleaning (which will be charged with 50 EUR on check-out. Totally OK if you mention this at check-in, but apparently its mentioned in the booking process. Damn, I finally should start reading the fine print. Note: The receptionist tells you this is what normal people do anyway when they leave and this is normal to charge this. Yes, OK, but wont the dishes be cleaned anyway in the final cleaning to guarantee the next customer has clean dishes. Management answer: Yes, but Saturday is changing day so its very busy for the cleaning personel. Evil to him who thinks evil. -One toilet hidden behind the soccer field for the whole pool area (pisscine), no toilet lid since apparently two years -Parking spaces probably far of your bungalow/tent -Walk to the beach over small dirt path (10 mins with kids) -Managements unwillingness to discuss customers point of view. I dont seem to be the only one to have experienced difficulties (do the review reading yourself) -The whole experience just leaves you thinking, damn I feel like this is definitely not worth my money. They will probably go on with their way of business. But please dont let yourself be fooled, like I did. At last one good thing about this vacation: Never in my life have I been so happy to be back home. P.S. The management now, will probably tell me I should have come up with all my complaints during my stay and that this was the fault of the cleaning personel (obviously not the first one to review inadequate cleanliness). So I rather think its a structural problem (too tight cleaning schedules). From their reaction on my argument on the 50 EUR dish cleaning charge Im really glad I didnt. I expect rooms to be clean on arrival in the first place, not after a complaint. -

Amazing Time with FamilyI have to say I had a brilliant time here and I cant understand why other people are complaining. We stayed in a Bungalow with my daughter and her boyfriend the second week in September. The Bungalow was very clean and modern. The air-con was good and the shower was powerful. The whole resort was clean and tidy and the staff were very helpful. The walk down to the beach took 5 minuets. The beach cafe served nice food, coffee, wine and beer at very reasonable prices. We did not pay for the sunbeds round the pool? but yes we paid for the sunbeds on the beach which we did not mind and to be honest we were charged less every day when we asked for a discount. The beach is beautiful and very clean and I felt safe with the lifeguard being there. The food in the main restaurant is exceptional and the staff are helpful and funny. We are defiantly going to book again next year. I am used to staying in 4 and 5 star hotels and I found the whole experience of the camping village refreshing, fun and relaxing:0)
