Roark ResortEverything was great. Beds were just so, a bit hard for our taste - but we are used to higher end mattresses. These were low to mid level. Decor was dated, but charming. Overall we were very comfortable and the proximity to the landing was great! There is a train that goes by at 12:30 AM most every night though, so be warned. Reminded me of "My Cousin Vinny"..lol

There was no Roark ResortCan not tell you one single thing about the Roark Resort as we never were able to check in. We traveled from Shell Knob, MO to Roark Resort in Branson in pouring rain. It was only an hour and half trip for us but we were anxious to get there and settle in. We arrived in Branson and found where we though the resort was located. We drove around and around trying to find the place in what was a downpour with hail. As a last resort we finally called the place and someone somewhere ansered and said the Roark was closed!! Guess they heard our throughts about that and was told they have a sister resort and we were welcomed to come and stay in one of their units. The place was another hours drive but in the end made out much better. Resort had only one bedroom as we are use to two. Well the new place called Stormy Point had the two bedooms and in fact was like a little home. The place was first class all the way. Only bad part was a rather demanding point made that we attend a two hour time share lecture. We reluctantly attended but after the hour lecture and before the grounds tour we told them we were not interested and they could keep all their free gimmicks and we walked out. Sorry we have no comments to make about the Roark Resort but the Stormy Point was more than adequate.

Terrible place to stayThis place needs to be condemned. It was terrible, 2nd and 3rd balconys were roped off, we had spiders in our bath towels, our A/C stopped and couldnt reach anyone to come and look at it, mallard sucks in the pool, kiddie pool not functioning, when you walked into the unit it smelled like sewer, bathtub shower combo very hard to get into for the height of how it was built, big crack in the bedroom ceiling the length of the room. I could go on and on

Nice place to stay.It is one of the oldest timeshare rentals in Branson. They have several units that are under construction but we were in one that was very accommodating. Because it is an older unit, it doesn't have some of the newest things but still a nice place to stay. The beds were very comfortable. The TV's are very small but that is not an issue for us as we don't go there to watch TV.
