  Fairly nice,,,but....

  For the most upscale of places, I expect details to be correct. The almost dead goldfish in the fountain was one item, with the lady feeding it and moving on.... Then there was the medical center area. If you go for an MRI (I did), the security people are VERY ANNOYING. First, they start by denying that we have an appointment and won't let us in until I call the doctor himself to verify the appointment. Then, they ask that we sit in a room (>90 degrees F with no air), and not enough seats for us (we only need 2) Nobody should stand in the hall. We suggest that if they want us to go sit in that room, then perhaps they should provide a chair for each person. Again, we are paying people, clean, neat, and not abusing anything. Just regular western people paying premium for what we get. The security people continued to follow us around, asking us who we are, while clearly now the have our names written on a piece of paper. It was like a silly game of annoyance. The rest rooms are clean, the coffee not as good as I brought to make in-room myself, except no place to make hot water, Facility was a fair distance from everything, and for the security level (being used to DC), it was pretentious. We came to relax, take the opportunity to get a well check. The doctors and equipment were good, higher priced than the rest of the city's facilities, but very affordable for a westerner.

  Best relax ever!

  Im lucky to live not far from this place. Nice view from every part of hotel, tasty food, stuff is very polite, rooms are clean. And spa is good. I kindly recommend for those who want too have family holidays with kids, or romantic relax just for two.

  Mixed fillings

  Negatives: Hotel looks really disgusting from outside - desparately needs new paint !!!! Standard room I had is very small. Carpets in the halls and rooms are gross - I do not understand what the management of hotel is thinking about?! Positives: Really liked hotel lobby - nice and specious. Breakfast was really nice - big veriaty of dishes - restaurant is big and a lot of light Spa is really nice. Did not go to medical facility

  New Year party

  Visited for New Year party. All good but expensive. Rooms in need of major updates. To be @ Rixos level. Overpriced. !!!Too long wait for the elevators. Breakfast good but for short hours. Please make room service faster.

  Few small changes here and there - would happily give 5/5

  Stayed last week, and had a pleasant stay. Was looking forward to returning, as visited the Rixos in 2018 and had a good stay before. The hotels very large, plenty to do, the majority of the staff friendly / welcoming / warm ( this has definitely improved ) in my view so that's good. Room stayed in this year very good size, good food options, has a lot going for it this hotel. Thankfully, if there was renovation going on this year, unlike last year I didn't hear any - which gives you a far better chance to relax. It's not the cheapest place ever, and rightly so, however found this infuriating last year. The WiFi really needs looking into. Worked well in the lobby, however not fantastic at all in the rooms - was kindly given a WiFi booster by reception which did help in my room - however in 2019 and the price you're charged WiFi should work a lot better than it did in my view. Understand it's a Spa - you're not at a hotel to surf the web - however sometimes you want to and this really needs looking into. The hotel is in desperate need of a lick of paint from the outside - this was even more glariningly obvious this year, and I'm amazed this hasn't happened in the time elapsed since last stay. Appreciate this may be expensive, timely etc - however it's really making the hotel look tired and not showing off it's full potential. A shame as it could be beautiful. Overall, a good stay - gave some thoughts to staff on the desk about a couple of other feedback that will leave with them, but a good stay on the whole.
