  Very Nice

  Stayed a couple of days with a work colleague in a 2 bedroom apartment. Staff are very friendly and we were able to leave our bags prior to check-in. Loved the colour palette of the Riviera and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Just a couple of very minor things - no remote for the TV in the bedroom, broken clothes hoist and no laundry sachet for the washing machine. No restaurant or pool but there is the Lagoon nearby and we walked to nearby restaurants for both breakfast and dinner.

  Overnight stay in Mackay at the Riviera

  Excellent stay overnight at the Riviera Hotel Mackay. Amazing riverview, close to all shops and restaurants. Very clean, modern. Comfortable couch, bed and pillows. All the things to make our stay enjoyable. Tip# be sure to book a room with river or ocean view. Also large cars may struggle with the carpark. All in all 10/10 accommodation! Great stuff!

  Excellent accommodation

  We had two nights in this fabulous accommodation as we were travelling from Cairns down to Sydney before the closure of the border. We were arriving late so the key was left in a key box as reception was closed and this was easily accessed. We checked in the following morning and received great advice on what to do from the manager & receptionist. We had a room on the eighth floor overlooking the river. The furnishings in all the rooms were beautiful. Everything was so clean and well looked after. There was a balcony with a lovely view & the rooftop terrace with barbecue facilities was well used by ourselves. The discreet utility room with washer & dryer was a welcome bonus after travelling from the north. Just wished we could have stayed longer but will definitely return when we come back to Australia.

  Great place to stay.

  We arrived and checked in all nice and easy, great staff, with plenty of undercover parking, the apartment was very nice, a full kitchen with a full size fridge and everything you would need, a nice sitting area and the balcony, nice size bedroom, a big shower, great accommodation. It was a quite area and right on the boardwalk, so just a short walk to the shopping centre, with plenty of restaurants around. We will definitely use this accommodation again.

  Lovely, central

  From check in to check out. Great, simple, friendly. We found the two bedroom unit, spotless, fully equipped. Loved the enormous balcony surrounding the unit, and the roof top barbecue area is gorgeous and spacious. All of us commented that we would happily stop there if in the area again.
