  Quiet Inn with cafe convenient to the Chelan village, shopping and the lake

  Great location, very close to the lake and a nice park directly across the street. Very reasonably priced and easy to book. Friendly staff and quiet. The room was cozy and adequately equipped. It did appear clean upon entry but later discovered an empty pizza box and some other litter under beds. This left some question to the quality of cleaning and disinfecting performed. We would have given a higher service rating if not for this oversight. The cafe was only open Fri-Sun and was not available to us during our mid-week stay. Check ahead to see if this changes.

  Don't choose the cheapest rooms

  We did not enjoy our stay at the Riverwalk Inn. We chose the least expensive room and perhaps other rooms are better, but our room was tiny and unpleasant. The bed took up almost all the space. We had to strategically maneuver around each other and the suitcases to get to the bathroom or front door. The bathroom was similarly tiny. The built in night stands in the bed had sharp corners--beware. The outdoor walkway area was unattractive. It featured gravel and some sad sunflowers that bent over and blocked the walkway.

  Comfortable, reasonable place to stay while waiting for the ferry

  We had a spotless room with a comfortable bed. The Inn is right next to the park and an easy walk from downtown Chelan. The staff is friendly and efficient. And, you can get the famous Steheken Bakery cinnamon rolls for breakfast at their cafe. As a guest, you get 20% off from breakfast.

  2nd visit was awesome!

  My husband and I arrived there around 3:45 pm on New Years Eve and the check in was so pleasant, one of the best. Its a small inn and very homey feeling. We had a room upstairs and was very clean and smelled good. The bed was so comfortable with lots of pillows. We woke up to the smell of freshly baked cinnamon rolls and it was amazing. The price was very good and next to the beautiful Riverwalk Park and downtown for a beautiful stroll. Check out was smooth, quick and painless. Youll love it as we did.

  Cute and kitschy but bed is awful

  My husband and I stayed at the Riverwalk Inn for 2 nights and slept horribly. The bed was just awful. Saggy and soft. Pretty sure the mattress was either very old or very cheap and then they added a foam topper making it even more squishy. My husband and I kept rolling towards the middle of the bed. And although the room heater heated up the room nicely, it was so loud. Every time it would start blowing warm air it sounded like a child screaming and/or a space ship taking off. It would have been nice to have a hairdryer in the bathroom. Otherwise, this place has a ton of potential. Very cute and a awesome location for walking around Chelan.
