  Keep it simple!

  More than a B&B is a small hotel.  The location is rural, nevertheless, a short walk to the center of Clarens. I loved  that huge and beautiful wipping willow! The rooms are well appointed and spacious but they have some issues with the drains, we had to move rooms due to sewage smell and the shower water pressure was dissappointed.  Bedding was a bit weird with all kinds of blankets and covers when a nice duvet would have been just perfect...  I understand it is my personal choice but also would make housekeeping's job so much easier My biggest concern is about breakfast, once again too complicated.  On arrival you are handed a huge list of options and the time you want your breakfast.  So many items that make you wonder how can they deliver.    The hot breakfast turned to be a bit of a disaster as it was difficult to deliver all the items promised.  Just like the bedding, make breakfast simple, you got a nice little buffet where you can place your cold items and offer a hot English:  pork sausage, a bit of mushroom, back bacon and either fried or scramble eggs, that's all.   Nothing better than a freshly cooked egg. Don't get me wrong, this place is nice, just... Simplified it!

  Long awaited vacation

  This place was much more than I expected for a small town in the middle of nowhere. Clean, spacious, excellent service, and in a breathtaking setting. Breakfast had a good variety, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Comfortable living space makes you want to stay indoors despite the beauty of the landscape.

  Beautiful and Lekker

  We had a real good time in a beautiful scenery. Very friendly hosts and a superb breakfast. The Rooms were big and especially the bathrooms. We had 2 Rooms under the roof with a Beautiful view. Perfect for 2 couples or a Family. There could be some more light in the right room, that would be nice. The recommendation of the restaurant "Clementines" was perfect, the food was simply excellent!! Best Restaurant in Clarens. Unfortunately we had cold weather, so we could not go for hiking. But all in all we had a wonderful stay and the people in Clarens were totally friendly - it was a pleasure. We can highly recommend this B&B.

  Again a beautiful stayover in Clarens at Riverwalk B&B

  Everything was perfect and the view from the little terrace on the 2nd floor onto the river and the mountain is spectacular! The next time I will com to Clarens I will definitely know where I will stay: RIVERWALK B&B

  Beautiful Place

  Wow what a beautiful place. The room was beautiful, spacious and clean. The owner is very nice, the breakfast was worth every cent. We really enjoyed our time there and should we visit clarens again we are definitely booking Riverwalk bed and breakfast. The only thing that I can fault was the lack of forks and knifes in the room and I believe that that can be fixed. Overall thank you for the great hospitality we will surely recommend the place.
