  Very Disappointed!!

  We have stayed at RiverView Suites several times in the past few year and have always enjoyed it. However, this time it was very disappointing! First, suite 501 is terrible. For $180 a night it should be a clean, well presented room. See the pictures attached for what we encountered! Wires dangling from behind the TV's, rust all over the bathroom, dirt shower, filthy kitchen draws. Lets not forget to mention the dorm room refrigerator they have in this room! Parking! They demolished the parking structure next to the suites, now your parking options are at the Ballast Hotel across the street for $12 a day or paid street parking. Come on man!!!! Construction. Plan on sleeping past 7AM Mon-Fri...... nope! They are out there banging away at first light! Totally disappointed.

  Great view, perfect location, tad noisy

  Cute little condos overlooking the Cape Fear River. Yards from attractions. Perfect for two. Alas, 7 a.m. construction sounds nearby. HVACs loud; building can vibrate during extreme temps. Still, good value if booked early.

  Battleship Marathon Weekend

  This hotel is more of a time share condo. Hard to find where to register, we had to ask people sitting on the balcony how they got into the building! Oh have to go a block up to register at another/ sister hotel. No where did it say this when booking. Got into our suite and the slider to the balcony was dirty, unlocked because it was broken and did not close tight! Good thing we were on the 6th floor! The sink in the bathroom was slow to drain and the remote for the TV had NO batteries leaving the tv inoperable. The view of the battleship across the river was the best part of this room.

  Worst place I have ever stayed in my entire life

  Had to wait half an hour to check in due to computer error. Sofa bed will not pull out. TV in bedroom will not work. No electric outlet for bedside table. No parking places in the lot we were provided with for parking, which we were charged $12 for. Will absolutely never stay here again and will pass it on to everyone I know

  Terrible Experience

  The only positive about this property is the location. I would avoid this property and Turnkey Rentals at all costs. We arrived to a condo (811) that had not been cleaned from the previous occupant in the middle of a pandemic. Things continued to go down hill from there. We were relocated into the neighboring unit (812)and then were informed we would be charged a $250 pet fee. This listing is misrepresented on hotels.com and is not pet friendly. The condition of the rental is poor with very cheap upgrades. The tv remotes barey work, shower water pressure is horrible and a roach even joined us on our stay. Upon stripping the bed at check-out the mattress was covered in stains including ones that looked like vomit. The worst experience I have ever had with a rental property. This was in NO way worth the almost $700 we paid for 4 night. I do not reccomend this property, unit nor the adjoining one. And I certainly do NOT reccomend Turnkey Rentals who is the property management company, Hotels.com or VRBO.
