  Two Thirds of Elevators & Restrooms Not Working-long waits!

  We have never before stayed at this hotel. The positive: The front desk staff and security staff were professional and polite. The room was really nice. That's where the good parts ended... The negative: Of the six elevators in the South Tower, only two were working. Social distancing limits to only four per elevator, so that made for LOONNNGGG waits every time we wanted to go up to our room. Getting back down was just as frustrating; the elevators would not stop on the downward trek, sometimes we waited for three downward runs before we could leave the elevator lobby. Another guest told me that the north tower had only one elevator working there, so it was even worse. Security would occasionally come by the huge line and bring people up four at a time in the service elevator. We even moved rooms from the 20th floor to the sixth floor, thinking that would help, it didn't. Just an FYI about the sixth floor river/pool view rooms: the bass-heavy pool area music starts at 8 a.m. and ends at 10 p.m., never mind that we're in the winter & no one is out by the pool. Good luck if you want to sleep at all during those hours! Of the two women's restrooms, one was completely closed for "remodeling" the other had all but two stalls taped off with caution tape. The escalator to the second floor sports book was not working, taped & coned off so couldn't use that as stairs. Hallways in the hotel were not vacuumed, were dirty to look at. Had we known about the above, never would have stayed.

  Unprofessional staff

  Me and my family came from washington to visit and my dad is over 21 me and my boyfriend ( 18,19 ) got kicked out of the casino for walking up to my dad to talk to him and we got the security called on us for not even being next to him for 1 minute and then they harassed us not only one person but two they wouldnt give us their names it was a women who was fat and had brown long hair with a sparkly mask and slightly tall she was the rudest person for no reason and the guy who was slim with brown hair and kinda tall he tried grabbing me as i was already walking away and told him dont worry im leaving and still attempted, this is the worst hotel to stay at they have no common knowledge on how to talk to anyone in a professional matter so i made sure they knew my opinion about them and i hope the rest of the casino knows too, so not waste thousands of dollars here for crappy service. at the riverside hotel on the southside.

  Be careful of new smoking rules.

  The wife and I enjoy going to the Riverside and have been for years. When we stay at hotels we typically reserve a non smoking room as even though we smoke, we do not smoke inside dwellings or rooms and only smoke outside. We booked a non-smoking room and the wife had a smoke outside on the balcony with the door closed to the room, wife left the cigarette butt in a bottle on the balcony and we were charged $250.00 for smoking in the room, didn't realize it included outside the room so we are guilty as charged. Hotel would not waive the charge on this so it's only FYI in case you think it's OK to smoke outside the room. $250 Wiser.

  Excellent Riverview Room!

  My brother and I stayed here during our Super Bowl LV trip. Beds were comfortable. Room had a fridge. We splurged and got a room with a view of the river, which was nice. Overall, we felt the quality of our accommodations was on par with the best that Laughlin has to offer.

  Below Average Casino

  Upon multiple visits to Casino; extremely disappointed in the quality of Video Poker Machines , including poor payouts. Don is a 90 Year old individual that needs to spend money on both upgrades and payouts. He should retire and allow his grandson to stop the frugality.
