  had a great visit room immaculate food excellent and staff were wonderful my first visit and will be doing a second very soon hopefully in October/ November view from room was outstanding and walk along river was lovely

  Very Enjoyable Stay

  We stayed here for a one night breakaway, we found the Riverside Hotel room to be exceptionally clean, which is quite unusual these days (my wife is an expert having worked in hotels for years), there was a pleasant atmosphere in the Lounge/bar area which had a modern look, we didnt require an evening meal, but had a breakfast, this was lovely, hot and can recommend. A pleasant surprise is the location on the river, which you cannot see on arrival until you walk around the building, here you can have a proper chill out observing the view.

  Very friendly staff

  We stayed 1 night end of September welcome by Charlotte who rang us before our arrival to explain the new restrictions due to COVID we used the QR code before entering & used the Hand Sanitiser all the staff was wearing face coverings Our room was quite large & very spacious with a view of the river had everything in room plenty Tea & coffee etc Even had USB sockets too very good large compfy bed with a great shower slightly tired in places We had a lovely meal in restaurant staff again where great the food was very tasty the pudding was AMAZING ;) Breakfast was excellent & all very tasty too Hotel has a river which if weather was better we would love to take full advantage of to sit in there garden. Notice people using rowing boats very calming. Would visit again next year so could use there Garden. Many thanks to all the staff we came across

  Short break.

  Stayed two nights rooms small but very clean.Staff very helpful, food both breakfast and evening meals Excellent.Furniture needs a lot of T,L,C in bedrooms and lounge area good range of ales at good price.

  OK 2 night stay

  My partner booked a 2 night stay here using a voucher. Check in was easy. The room was quite compact but fine for a 2 night stay. There was a kettle and tea/coffee provided. The room was quite modern and appears to have recently undergone modernisation. The reason I am rating 3 is due to the cleanliness and observations made when at the hotel. The room was really dusty. Also the cleaning staff wasn't wearing a face mask when stripping down rooms. For this reason in light of the ongoing pandemic we wouldn't stop here again.
