  Great location!

  Right by the beach and cafes, Woolworths, and a bar, all within walking distance. Basking and Robins ice cream right next door as well as a great Thai restaurant (red wok). Room itself is spacious and clean and in the bathroom amenities provided were soap, shampoo and conditioner. Towels also provided. No mini bar (milk provided if you want to make a coffee)and secure parking is available. Only complaints about this place was the musty smell and mould in the shower, otherwise really great place to stay! Would go again.

  Would not recommend. Far too expensive for very poorly outfitted apartment. Our apartment had lots of maintenance needed and badly needed update of furniture and bedding. Advised Manager but have feeling he did not really care. Willcertainlynot be returning there.

  Good sized rooms.nice views comfy. Close to shops.From there it was lack of maintenance .3 bed apartment . Top dollar.No light in the toilet ,shut the door and it was dark . Go by feel. No free to air T.V.Management could not tune and did not seem to care except for the 2 lady assistants.They were great.Toilet leaked all the time ,you had to turn the wall tap off to stop it. All the time the manager would say "I phoned maintenance". Mmmm. Should of been offered a discount.

  Comfortable and on the riverfront

  We stayed for five nights and found a lovely apartment that was well furnished and comfortable. Lovely balcony with riverside views. A spa bathtub (not tested) in one of two bathrooms, the other being en suite. A well supplied kitchen had cold water and ice in the freezer (an important and usually overlooked touch). All the crockery and equipment needed for basic cooking, simple breakfasts and more. That said, Ballina has come a long way and has a thriving café culture including some really novel offerings such as a record shop with coffee. That's all just in the main street adjacent. See my review of nearby restaurants such as the Wharf and the Indian Kitchen...both near, in fact the former is over the esplanade...both very good. Lovely evening and morning views. Pelicans all over and that's my favourite bird so great! Tranquil, expansive river views from huge balcony. Undercroft parking included. We paid $210 per night. Bed a bit ordinary.

  Brilliant apartment

  This two bedroom apartment was brilliant. Plenty of room in the main living area with a well equipped kitchen. Two bathrooms with a very large en-suite for the master bedroom. Top it all off with a large furnished balcony overloooking the river and you the perfect base to explore the region. The apartment was clean, well presented and very comfortable. Free wifi and secure parking and you are 100 metres from Woolworths and the main shopping area. Would definitely stay here again.
