    Average hotel, very good staff

The rooms are very spacious, yet not much fit for business. Television, bathroom (only shower) and bed on one floor are connected by a stair to the entrance on the another floor. The entrance contains one big sofa, a kitchen table and some chairs. Wifi is free, but unfortunately the signal's strength is so low that it is impossible to connect. In addition to this, the 3G coverage is very pooi inside the room. The room is a bit noisy, but the sound level is bearable. Breakfast is definitely a plus for this place, as is the attitude of the staff, very helpful and talkative.

I agree - great staff, terrible rooms

We stayed for 2 nights and the staff were really nice and helpful. The first room we had was a horrible dump but without prompting, the receptionist offered to move our stuff to a better room while we were out for the day. The second room was a little more up to date. Sadly, although the air conditioning didn't work, we realised when we retired at 1am that the control panel flashed every 20 seconds. Each flash illuminated the room with the ferocity of an aircraft landing light. Naturally I came up with a cunning plan and covered the light with a band aid from my wash kit. Perfect, blissful darkness... until 3am when the glue failed and the band aid pinged off! Awake, adrenalised, was that a silent ambulance in the corner of the room? I sprang from the bed like a ninja and resumed problem solving I knew there was a pair of underpants on the floor somewhere and every 20 seconds I had a burst of illumination, much like a lighthouse, to aid my search. Underpants found, I carefully scrunched them onto the offending panel success! Darkness again... until, flop, the underpants fell to the floor. Heart racing, I once more improvised, I scrunched the pants in place and then held them there by propping the standard lamp against them at a 45 degree angle. At last the disturbance was vanquished and I was able to lie awake and gradually calm down in total darkness for the remainder of the night. When we checked out the nice staff asked how my stay had been. So, blearly eyed, I told them and they didn't charge me for the second night. The nice staff asked my friend how his stay had been too, so he told them. His fridge had started leaking dangerous gases, fortunately it didn't start until he returned from breakfast so I didn't have to arrange repatriation of his corpse and they didn't charge him for the second night either. The breakfast and the breakfast lady were very nice.

    Very nice hotel

If you have your own transport then this is a great place to stop. The rooms are big and airy with A/C and a very nice bathroom. Although they don't have a restaurant there are quite a few nearby some within walking distance so you can sample some local wine with your meal. Great location close to the city centre and the Pagani factory and both the Modena and Maranello Ferrari museums (all well worth a visit) staff are friendly and helpful. All in all a great place to stop but not if you rely on public transport to get about (although taxis can be arranged)

    Use overbooking

Be careful! This hotel use overbooking practices. I would never recommend a hotel like this one. We came there after a long day with our e-mail of confirmation and they just told us, "we are full, goodbye" without even finding something else for us and just telling that it was booking's fault. But when booking called them they never responded... strange. They are not professional at all. at least a little bit of recognition and sympathy for having let us without catering during the night....
