  buen hotel

  No entiendo muy bien algunas de las críticas que le hacen al hotel. Vale que no es un hotel de lujo pero está bien. EStuve hace unos años y ahora escribo la crítica pero me acuerdo perfectamente y no estaba mal. El personal como siempre lo mejor

  Not a place to stay

  Staff is expecting you to pay more if you are a foreigner. 1500.- for locals, 2500.- for foreigners. Just don't go is this old and crappy hotel. Staff is not welcoming, the building is by far outdated. Not recommended !

  Needs work!

  On a positive note, the room was huge and clean, if a little dated. It had great river views. The Thai buffet breakfast was one of the best I have tasted in thailand and the restaurant (Thai) was very good, if a little pricey. Now the not so good. The ceilings in the hallways were very mouldy and had water dripping in a number of places . There was a very strong smell of mould in the lifts and hallways. I stayed here several years ago and it was the same then. I was quoted what seemed like a high price over the phone (I'm not Thai) , but my Thai wife was given a much better price when she enquired. Not sure what to make of that!

  Power failure / switched off after breakfast

  We were moved to this hotel after Woraburi hotel had claimed all the ac in over 100 rooms had failed ...hotel quite empty so probably cost saving as believe same owner !! After breakfast in this hotel returned after walk at 9 am to find apparent complete power failure. Possibly another cost saving function in this large old hotel and so guests will leave early. Most emergency lights didn't work....very large room...ripped curtains....kitchen tap leaking as was toilet....no tea / coffee / kettle although had a kitchen. Internet on / off and very slow when on. Breakfast buffet not good. ac in room very old and very noisy. A lot of hotels in area do not book here.

  Do not stay here!

  This hotel is old and tired and the staff are jaded and pathetic. The whole place is so old fashioned it should be pulled down and something else built in its place. The price is too high for what you get. Lots of things in our bedroom were broken, for example, the phone and the shower head. The food in the restaurant was nice but pricey. The breakfast was awful. A lot of cold stuff I couldn't eat. Cold fried eggs!
