  DO NOT STAY HERE!

  After a long day of travelling from Vietnam we arrived at the resort and had good first impressions. The resort looked well kept and fairly modern, however our impressions quickly changed. After checking in we decided to go for a quick swim in the pool to relax after our 12 hours of travelling, however the pool wasn't clean - there was rubbish, leaves and frogs floating in it so we quickly got out. We then wandered over to the restaurant to see what time it opened/have a look at the menu but were then told by the lady that checked us in that the restaurant was "out of service," (she seemed to find this funny?!) So we asked her if there were any restaurants nearby only to find out that the nearest one was a 4km walk away (the resort is situated in the middle of nowhere and there is nothing else to do in the area!) Therefore, we ended up going without dinner for the night. By this point I was getting pretty annoyed! I booked our room about a month in advance and so our arrival was not unexpected (it would not have taken much to send us an email informing us that the restaurant would be closed so to bring our own food or we could have changed our accommodation and gone elsewhere!!!) The room was ok, the bed was fairly comfortable and the bathroom was very big (although there was no hot water so our showers were freezing cold). We have been travelling SE Asia for 3 months now and until now have always chosen accommodation based on reviews. This resort was in the rough area we needed to be for our transfer to Donsak Pier the following day and the description made it sound idyllic so although there were no previous reviews we decided to go ahead and book it, especially as it was so cheap. All I can say is that we are glad we were only staying for one night as a stop off between Surat Thani airport and getting the ferry to Koh Samui the next morning, and that we will never be choosing future accommodation that doesn't have previous reviews!

  Terible!

  We were traveling all around Thailand and this hotel was almost the last stop. We wanted to relax, lay by the pool, have sunbathing before the fly. Then we came here from first look it wasnt clean. On recepsion table a lot of dead and not dead bugs, mirrors were very dirty. Stuff didnt speak english just Thai. Swimming pool looks like they never clean it! I didnt see its bottom. Our room looks quit good and big. Just smell was awfull (this smell was in recepsion also). Bathroom was very very big. But from second look here was terrible: room wasnt clean, on the floor of the middle of room was road of ants, in bathroom we saw very big spider (in national park we didnt see this big), on sofa were unknow animal's poops and the one safe place looks bed. But then I lay on in, sameone bited me. Terrible! We couldnt sleep here, so we left it. NOT RECOMMENDED!.!
