  Best bed and breakfast in town

  Art and Polly are amazing and the River Lily Inn is beautiful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the food is delicious, and the owners treat everyone like family. We were married at the Inn 10 years ago and decided to come back and stay for our anniversary. We were greeted in our room by a framed thank you card we sent after our wedding, a ribbon from the chair back at the wedding, and an anniversary card from Art and Polly. We were blown away that they had these things and remembered us 10 years later. This is a first class establishment and I would highly recommend it to anyone!

  Magical anniversary weekend

  My husband and I actually got married at the River Lily Inn. This year, as we are celebrating our ten year anniversary, we decided to return to the place we took our vows. We were not only excited to visit this beautiful and timeless home that somehow feels cozy and majestic all at once, but also the innkeepers, Art and Polly. Polly was incredibly committed to helping make our wedding the beautiful event we dreamed of, and Arts artistry and creativity stuck with us through the years. While we looked forward to seeing them again, we doubted they would remember us. Theyve seen many guests and done many events over the years. It was a pleasant surprise that they not only remembered us and our wedding day, but Polly had actually placed special mementos from our wedding in our room to welcome us. We were speechless and so touched to see what shed done to welcome us back. From beginning to end our stay was a magical experience, topped off by a delicious breakfast skillfully and artfully prepared by Art, who then proceeded to entertain us with his music and fun stories. We cannot recommend the River Lily Inn highly enough. It will always hold a special place in our hearts and we look forward to returning again!

  Our wedding day

  We have been to the River Lily many times and it is always perfect. The owners Polly and Art make you feel right at home. They made or wedding day so beautiful. We can't wait to go back to this amzing home.

  A very special place

  The River Lily Inn is a very special place to my family! We often stay at the inn when we go to visit my 93 year old mother, who lives just a few miles away at Bishop's Glen Assisted Living facility. The owners of the inn, Art and Polly, made us feel right at home the very first time we stayed. That's why we continue to return year after year; they treat everyone like family. The inn is beautiful, comfortable and incredibly clean. Polly has thought of all the little details. Coffee is ready in the early morning (just outside your door), and fresh made cookies are in the lobby every afternoon. We usually stay in one of the rooms with a balcony. It's so peaceful to sit out there and watch the boats on the intracoastal. Breakfast is absolutely delicious and plentiful! Art is a fabulous cook and can accommodate for any allergy (mine is to dairy). Art is also an amazing painter. You will enjoy some of his art work throughout the inn. We could not recommend the River Lily Inn more highly! It is a special oasis for our family and we always look forward to our next visit!

  Beautiful and Relaxing

  My mom and I celebrated an early Christmas with a night at River Lily Inn. We were greeted by Polly, who is so sweet and welcoming. We stayed in the Hide-A-Way room, which has a beautiful queen bed and a huge balcony with rocking chairs. Polly offered us an upgrade to another room, but we decided to stick with the Hide-A-Way because of the gorgeous balcony. The room was incredibly clean and the bed very comfortable. There were other people in the house but we wouldnt have known because our room was sooo quiet! We could hear a train going by at night, but that was only because we kept our balcony door open. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. I have a gluten allergy and Polly and Art were easily able to accommodate (and even had gluten free bread for me!). After breakfast my mom and I walked down the street and found Sunrise Park and spent a little time there. We will definitely be back to River Lily in the future.
