AverageThe Ritter hotel isnt as bad as some of the reviews state. I think you have to get into perspective what it costs vs what your getting for the price. A friendly welcome and rooms basic with supplied ear plugs for the noise below the hotel. Breakfast was average and an annoying feature is. the fact they supply one key when there are two in a room. This involved waking up the owners to get in. This hotel is ideally situated and some investment it could be a little gem.

Warm and Comfortable!Great Location, Basic Accom/Hotel, very Friendly. Very warm and comfortable, great nights sleep, so good I slept later than Planned, ouch!. (To avoid Late night, street noise?, I requested a room at the back of the building, it worked! ) ..... Very good value for money!!

If i could give no stars i would.Myself and a group of 9 girls arrived here for a 'party' weekend on Friday 29th March 2019. Rooms are nicely sized, was noisy but wasn't as issue as we would probably add to that throughout the holiday, weak wooden doors with a dodgy lock but we wasn't too bothered as the hotel itself seems safe and we was on the top floor. Two members of staff we met were both lovely however spoke very little English so communication was hard at times. However after 11pm you are left in the hotel with no staff or contact number, which at first didn't seem to be an issue until Saturday night. On Saturday night as I was returning home around 1am to find a German man leaving my room, when I asked him what he was doing he ran away, I then entered my room to find a naked German lady passed out on my bed. With no staff to contact I found the police who were around the bars who then arrested the women and found the man. Both said they wanted no trouble and was a misunderstand as the man's key opened our door, and no valuables were stolen. As I escorted the police out of the hotel I seen one member of staff trying to hide in a room, which I can only describe as a broom closet to avoid the commotion. I explained what happened and demanded we moved rooms or had new bed sheets put on until the morning. She refused to give us a new room, but half heartedly changed our bedsheets. In the morning, after explaining again for the 3rd time what had happened to the other member of staff, I asked for my money back on the room (which was about 120 euro) and to speak to the manager, at first they said the manager was in China and could not be contacted but after kicking up a fuss they rang him and let me speak to him. The manager was called Charlie and when I explained the situation and he laughed down the phone and told me it was my fault and I would not be getting my money back after threatening to put give bad reviews he laughed again and said he didn't care. Due to us leaving to catch a flight I dropped it and told him I would email booking.com and himself when I arrive in England. As leaving the hotel to go the airport (about 20 mins after this phone call.) Charlie arrived at the hotel talking to staff. When I went over and asked if it was him he blankly looked me up and down and carried on talking to his staff. Overall this was a traumatic experience and should not have happened. I would avoid this hotel at all costs.

To enjoy its the best place .Its a nice small hotel and that area is famous for beer gardens. Most of the bachelor parties are happening there. So dont be surprised if you can hear people are having parties until 5am and its loud. If you need a quiet place then this is not for you. The receptionist Kelly was very friendly and helpful.
