  Great place to overnight

  My husband and I needed to overnight some place on our way to New York from Toronto. Found this place on TripAdvisor; the price was right. The first room we were given was in an older wing of the hotel, and, for reasons of cleanliness, unacceptable. I even found myself contemplating decamping, even at the late hour it was. But I went to the front desk and explained things to Pamela who spent a lot of time finding a better room for us. The computer said there were no vacancies but she knew there was. She even checked the room out for us personally before sending us there. And we were given a fresh-smelling room (that is, no smell) with beds with crisp linen. Thank you, Pamela! We slept great. That morning, we treated ourselves to a sit-down breakfast before hitting the road again, and Latitia (I think that's her name) was the morning counterpart to Pamela. She greeted us with a warm smile, was very personable and professional. We would recommend this place so long as you specify a room in the newer, renovated part. And Bravo to those excellent employees who went the extra mile!

  Nice place, close to NYS 490/90

  Staying while family at strong hospital (5.8mi). Polite staff, super clean room. Room service was good. Problem w noise from sports teams staying there. Shuttle, but had issue with that too. Got room changed for the noise...advised management of shuttle issues....they were surprised and apologized

  Great staff and place

  First I would like to say this a great place but most of all I would like to tell you about these amazing people the first one is melenie Gabriel cintron she is the manager she is very nice and respectful and she goes above and beyond I absolutely love love her I have been to several hotels and she is the best manger I have dealt with I will always come back here because of her if more people were like her it would be amazing I can't say enough great things about her if I could rate her a 100 percent I would if I could give her a promotion she would get it if you go here ask for her she will go above and beyond for u and she is a sweet heart to the next person who is great is Shari Lovejoy bands she has helped us so much to we ask for something she tries to make it happen if she could be the manager under melenie that would be amazing you would have a great team u already do between these two amazing ladies it would just make it more amazing ty you ladies for going above and beyond for us

  Great Place, Great Staff

  We stayed here when we dropped my son off at RIT. The check in was quick and easy, all covid precautions taken. The room was great and comfortable. When we need towel , we just got ne ones left outside the door. There was a problem with WIFI, corrected asap. For the price it was well worth it, and close to the campus. Too bad the pool was closed , but we will stay again .

  wrongfully charges $430!

  I have stayed here more than once and the last time I stayed, I was falsely accused and charged $430 DOLLARS EXTRA for smoking in the room which I would absolutely never do. I was unable to get in touch with a manager and an email was never returned. I understand hospitality is suffering but to WRONGFULLY CHARGE someone a large amount of money to who is working very hard in times like this is horrifying. I would definitely reconsider if you cannot afford a surprising charge like this. Shameful.
