  3 * with the hospitaliy of a 5*

  There are 3 hotels in Isernia. 2 of the 3 may look better on sites due to size and pool, however this is not the case. This is listed as a 3 star. This is no glamour to the hotel. It is simple with modern setting Ikea style....feels like home. It has the most amazing Illy bar on the main floor with pasteries and gelati....the best in town (all the locals come). The resturant is of authentic fare and also good. The maids provide a service 2 second to none.....this hotel is beyond clean. The front desk staff go out of their way to the extreame.....they remember names of family and children......they feel like freinds before you leave. There is good a/c (hard to find in Italy) and is the only one in the city centre.....no car needed right in the heart of the centre of shops, resturants, grocery stores and the bus and train station. Go to City fashion it is just before Isernia.......the outlet for D&G, Gianfranco Ferre, Versace etc....unreal prices for men women and children. Travel 10 minutes to Castelpetroso and see the gorgeous French Gothic Cathedral on the mountain top in a forest. Built at the site due to an miricle. You can also travel up the mountain and see the stations of the cross. One does not have to be religious to appriciate its beauty. So beautiful that Pope John Paul made a visit. Our family goes to Iserna almost every sunner.....we would never stay at any other hotel. Also to be noted......husband/wife that work the desk from the Bronx .....very nice to have fluent english staff!

  Our stay in Isernia

  The rooms are spacious and all amenities work well; the hotel is clean; the staff are friendly and helpful; the meals are tasty and filling; and of course the vino is good, plentiful and cheap. The boss man speaks English. It is a short walk from the train station. Traffic is super busy when the shops are open.

  Very nice hotel, centrally located, easy walk from train station. Rooms very large and spotless.receptionest, Velma is a great asset, she is very helpful. Helped with rented car assisting with reservations. Gals at the cafe bar are very friendly. Had a great stay, should be more than 3star..... MB & Frank. Timberlake, Ohio

  Local flavor

  To experience the local flavor, this is the place to be. My Italiano is not so good, but the staff is so very nice and try to help work through what it is that we need. Beds very comfortable, room very clean and everyone in Isernia is very nice and welcoming. Definitely will visit again!

  El hotel no nos gusto para nada. Las instalaciones son viejas y tienen aspecto de sucias. En nuestra habitacion se escuchaban todo tipo de ruidos de las otras habitaciones. El agua no estaba muy caliente y a la noche apagaron la calefaccion lo que nos dio mucho frio. No habia frazadas de mas. Lo unico que destaco es la atencion del restaurante. Cuando fuimos a desayunar las chicas nos atendieron muy bien. No lo recomiendo ni volveria...
