  best massage in town

  there are many places to get a traditional thai massage. ut only a few who really cultivate that tradition. the spa at the risasinee resort is clean, very relaxing and the therapists know what they do and what you need. you come out of the massage fully energized and with a recharged soul. try it.. its worth every bath

  An Oasis in Nan

  The Thai wife and I stayed here for a night recently. We had arrived in Nan a day earlier than expected and not being able to get into our pre-booked accommodation a day early, we booked this resort for the night. This is both a mini-resort and a spa. At the moment it appears accommodation options are restricted to a small number of villa rooms at the back of the property as the main accommodation building is being renovated. According to the owner it will be ready in March 2018. It looks really quite impressive. We found ourselves in a very large above ground villa room and loved it. Big, airy, tastefully decorated and relaxing. A pleasant surprise was that our room rate included two one hour massages. We choose the foot massage and without a shadow of a doubt both my wife and I agreed they were pretty much the best we've had in Thailand. So relaxing. We slept well and next morning presented ourselves at 7:00am for breakfast. It was then we realized we were the only guests that night and yet there were a number of staff there to serve breakfast and make the ever necessary lattes. The food was amazing both in terms of quality and quantity. We felt bad we couldn't finish it all. I'm pretty sure we'll be coming back here on future stays and hope to try our the new accommodation, and indulge in another massage or two.

  great spa, coffee shop, AND accomodations

  great accomodations, with additional rooms being built. grounds are well-kept with an array of native and flowering plants. staff are really friendly and helpful. first floor of the beautiful main building holds full-service coffee shop, serving locally-grown coffee that is as good as i have had anywhere in the world. the main building also houses a spa offering proper thai traditional massage among other relaxing choices. spa and coffee shop are reasonably priced and open to the public, if you are staying elsewhere or just visiting Nan for the day you can stop by. i look forward to returning next year.

  Friendly efficient service

  This resort has everything you could wish for will travelling. Friendly staff who go out of their way to help, large spotlessly clean rooms with TV, fridge, kettle. And now newly added coffee shop serving the best espresso and cappuccino with excellent food. New rooms above the coffee shop are nearing completion. And to add to it all a variety of massage treatments at the Spa.

  very good massages in a clean environment

  the risasinee might not be the cheapest massage place in nan but by far the best for any kind of serious massages. the staff is so nice and friendly and the rooms are very clean. the therapists, all women, know what they do and no matter you get the massage from a young or older woman it will be a relaxing and very good massage that is done especially for your needs. i highly recommend the risasinee and i will every once in a while go back. maybe the management should consider to employ one or two male therapists too. not everybody is open for a massage from a woman though its mostly better.
