  A wonderful lodge, excellent for children

  We had a great stay at Ripparoo this year. The food was magnificent, and the room was warm, spacious and had a lovely view. It is a very friendly place with ample opportunity to meet other residents. Sauna is particularly nice at the end of a long day skiing. Equipment hire is available within 50m and is discounted for Ripparoo guests. The TV room is a great place for kids to hang out. All lessons at Falls Creek are run through the resort ski school, and these are easy to arrange on line.

  Loved it again.

  Our family group of 7 (adult children) had another great stay. The highlight for me is undoubtedly the meals. Al is a great cook producing gourmet 3 course meals every night. (Except Fridays). The breakfast buffet sets you up for a hard days skiing. Dont bother with afternoon tea either because around 4:30 a quality cheese platter appears. A perfect time to start your apres drinks. Its a team effort though with constant restocking and clearing dishes at meals. The whole place is clean, tidy and well maintained and the managements attitude is obviously transferred to new staff. I cant reasonably suggest improvements. I can say when Al & Claire leave it will be a hard act to follow!

  Ripparoo bliss

  Our annual return to Ripparoo, very much later in the winter season than usual, was no disappointment. Having experienced years of the lodge at peak times at full capacity it was a new delight to enjoy the quieter space and the incredible warmth of our generous hosts. Ripparoo is not just accommodation at Falls Creek. It is a welcoming hearth to relax in and enjoy the friendly and ambient vibe that resonates in the space. I experience this lodge as a very calm, clean & well maintained establishment. The rooms are comfortable and spotless, the communal spaces are attractive and offer the chance to relax solo or connect casually with other lodgers. The lounge is beautifully light filled - a perfect place to read and soak in the views - and the central fireplace is very enticing every evening with ample couches provided. Having both breakfasts and dinners catered in house takes the experience of Ripparoo to the next level. The food is honestly exceptional. A generous spread of breakfast options is always on offer, freshly cooked and continental, that you can personally select. The dinners are 5 star and delicious! Delicately balanced flavours of the highest standard of ingredients that are truly cooked to perfection. We feel like kings and queens under Al and Claires impeccable care and loving, down to earth service. Their lovely staff reflect the same friendly and approachable energy and are always so obliging! Ripparoo is like a home away from home where you can relax, indulge in its many wonderful offerings and feel utterly blessed for living the good life.   Great atmosphere

  Spent a week at Ripparoo Ski Lodge. Cozy atmosphere with amazing food! Rooms are maintained well and always clean. Easy access to all the lifts you can basically ski up to the door! Facilities include games room, lounge, sauna and pool table.

  A great place in spring

  I usually come here in winter. This year I decided to come back and try it in spring. It was not as crowded but even so the staff were great. I could relax on the lounge and read a book by the fire. It was nice to be able to walk around the village. The food was par excellence. A great place to stay.
