  Beautiful looking hotel, spoilt by noise

  The hotel is beautiful inside. It is smart, our room was nice . The food in the main restaurant was good, excellent on Turkish night. Some on the staff in particular was very friendly and helpful. We travelled during Covid. I expected to have my temperature checked. However, what I did not expect was a thermometer "gun" thrust in my face before Id finished getting out of our taxi on arrival. No "may I?", "hello". The same at all meal times. I understand its necessary, but a little courteousy would have been nice. It was not the welcome we wanted. The hotel's pool was noisy all day long, it was like a 18-30s holiday, not a quiet relaxing experience. You also had the clashing competing music from neighbouring hotels. It was like battle of the hotel bands. Not pleasant. Kids club closed. The board showing the evening's entertainment did not tally with what was actually on. We had a swim up pool room - it offered no privacy from neighbours. There was a lack of basic information about nearby places to visit. I don't mean trips you can pay for. Local towns, shops, water parks. Some staff wore their face masks incorrectly (under the nose). The hotel Manager was not wearing a mask. Cleaners did not wear face masks. The hotel was isolated apart from other hotels. No shops to wander to, no bars to wander to. It needed a taxi. Advertised 4 restaurants - only one was open when we visited. In summary, a smart looking modern hotel spoilt by the constant noise. Not a place to relax in.

  Excellence

  I've visited this hotel during the Covid-19 pandemic. I really enjoyed the pools, the food, the whole atmosphere. The staff was very gently, kind. For the younger generation and for the kids there are many programs, the animators are doing a great job for the guests. These programmes are great even for the adults. We have played darts, fun games at the beach, waterpolo and many other things. The beach is not too far, but the hotel is not next to the sea, luckly the hotel managed to solve this problem, there is a 700 meter walk throughout a beautiful park, or in every 10 minutes a golf cart is coming for the guests to bring them to the beach(very clever and good idead, never seen this before). Overall a great holiday even during the pandemic, recommended for everyone.

  Not a 4/5 star hotel !

  The min we stepped foot inside the hotel we was a little disappointed it didnt have the wow factor we was promised during booking. This was our 4th time visiting Antalya and have enjoyed each of the other trips! Seen as we had come without our children we decided to still look forward to our stay. Our temps were taken just before entering the hotel which was perfect & was checked each time we returned. Masks were not mentioned to be worn in the hotel which I was very happy about. During check in the manager checked us in and didnt make any conversation until my husband mentioned we had booked a swim up room & the managers face just dropped. He was adamant we didnt have a swim up room even though we showed our booking info which clearly stated we had indeed booked a swim up room. He checked us into a standard room with twin beds pushed together & was adamant all their rooms had twin beds pushed together Our room was pool view hhmmmm pool view of the neighbours pool!! Honestly nothing management said was true. We contacted our booking agent and they assured us we had indeed had a swim up room but the hotel managers refused. I was very upset as I had paid extra for this. We were told their swim rooms were booked up till September so I assume they double booked and didnt offer any form of compensation. It was late so we had dinner & thought to just enjoy what we had & take it further the following day. Same thing next day they didnt care just kept brushing us off! Which I was angry about. We thought to leave it and carryon. The hotel is OK nothing special, food was mediocre and basically the same food for lunch & dinner which got boring & resulted us in going out to eat in the evenings. Only one restaurant is open on sight. Not what you expect after paying extra for all inclusive. Evening entertainment was fun due to the lovely entertainment crew who did everything to make us happy. Alittle advice some games were not the best due to covid! Passing card to each other mouth to mouth Erkan was super lovely ! He made an effort with everyone! Such a lovely personality All in all I would not return to this hotel or advise anyone to visit. There are lovely hotels around for less money & way nicer! We only booked this hotel for a swim up room & could not have been anymore disappointed.

  Big deception

  We arrived to riolavitas on September 14, we reserved all inclusive for two weeks. 1th deception the IC doesnt work or maybe off in the lobby and all commun part except restaurant, instead of the very hot weather Second thing breakfast is very poor and bread and pan cake arent fresh. Cause of COVID 19 you have to be served, instead of disinfect or distribute gloves at the restaurant entrance ( like all restaurants buffet in other hotel) 3rd thing under the pretext of COVID no other service is working,indoor pool is closed, no animation, for sauna and ham mam witch are free your have to make reservation and the spa responsable proposed us massage package and when we refused and ask to use only sauna and hammam he said I have no place until Thursday!!! We went to guest relation to make reservation for restaurant à la carte she said I cant, you have to come at 9 I told her that when I asked her on Tuesday she said come from 9 to 12 and its 11 and she has to take my reservation. After discussing she accepted!! hallways and conference room leads are dirty and dusty. The pool outdoor is very small, fortunately the hotel is not full. All staff look tired and unhappy. A lot off things are missing in this hotel and they are hiding this behind COVID 19. Many times I asked for coffee with milk and I had only black coffee cause no milk. Positive points are beach, bar and staff on the beach Many things have to be improved in this hotel, its not my first time in Antalya am coming every year since a long time ( Istanbul bodrum and Antalya) and i think riolavitas is the worst 5 stars I have ever seeing in Turkey.

  Basic hotel

  Visited during Covid, so appreciated facilities may not be at 100% however, as someone who has been lucky enough to stay in many 4 and 5* hotels around the world - this is not a 5* hotel! Main criticisms for serious improvement:- 1. Beds - no top sheets, no duvet covers! You are expected to sleep with a hard waffle blanket. 2. The food is mediocre at best. Choice is limited, with a lot of similar and unappetising casseroles. Also you cannot serve yourself - staff dont speak English, so be prepared to get what your given. 3. Noisy - note previous reviews. Two very close hotels - the 3 hotels compete for the loudest techno techno music - dreadful. Not one moments peace all day long. 4. Drinks - poor quality booze. If you like wine, youll be sorely disappointed and if you like cocktails, a gin and tonic can arrive with blue colouring! Be warned!! This was such a disappointment, we booked ourselves into another hotel for the remaining 4 nights to salvage the holiday. We ended up in the Side Star Elegance, which was excellent. Overall a 3* experience at best.
