  A calm & peaceful stay ...

  We chose the Landhotel as we were aiming to visit the Hufhaus village in nearby Hartenfels. The hotel does a very good & varied continental breakfast but there is no restaurant only a tearoom - our room was lovely with a sitting area leading out on to a balcony overlooking the garden - it was quiet & peaceful - there is a village road at the front & it was busy at times so am not sure how noisy the front rooms might be? - although there was no restaurant they were able to give several suggestions & we had two excellent evening meals both within a ten minute drive from the Hotel - a minor suggestion - the facility to make a hot drink on return in the evening would be good - we would be happy to stay in the future ...

  Good for transit hotel

  We stayed here for one night. We had a room with double bed, sofabed and kitchenette. Consisting of just a sink some plates and utensils and a cooler. Our room also had a balcony overlooking the fairly large backyard. It was on the first floor, no lifts. We ordered a babybed at 10, this was already in the room when we arrived and looked nice and in good condition. The room was clean. Parking is 2, there aren't a lot of parking spaces. The parking is in front of the hotel. Breakfast included mostly cold cuts, there was some sausage and eggs made to order. Breakfast is 6 for adults and 5 for kids up to 5 years. The staff spoke well enough English for us to communicate. The free wifi worked great. Overall if your looking for a hotel to stay on your way to your destination, I will definitely recommend this one.

  tip top accomodation and staff

  This hotel is kept to a very high standard and the staff are always very helpful and friendly. Lovely staying in a smaller hotel like this with a beautiful garden and historic cities nearby. If you need a quiet room, just ask for one facing the garden. They also have nice sitting out areas in the ground floor rooms.
