  Great place with a impressive breakfast buffet

  We found this hotel through our GPS while looking for a place to spend the night while travelling south. I believe that the usual visitor, unlike us, probably stays here several days to relax while enjoying the beautiful natural scenery in the area. The hotel is wonderful with practical spacious rooms. Our room even had quite a large balcony. The room also had a safe, minibar and a Wi-Fi with decent speed. What was really special though was the breakfast buffet. I can't remember the last time I saw such a lavish breakfast. It even included sparkling wine (Sekt). I tried to sample everything but it was impossible even for a big eater like me. Should you consider staying here you should probably stay more than one night.

  A beautiful garden and open field view in back.

  Was sunny with clear blue sky in late afternoon when we visited the restaurant of Ringhotel for a group supper. The gardens in the back were a beautiful backdrop to the outdoor dining area. Apple trees were a nice touch. Further back beyond the fence were open meadows. The embrace of nature was everywhere. The food was fine as we had a specially prepared buffet. Particularly liked the braised venison. All in all, a very comfortable and welcoming restaurant. Would recommend to try if in the area.

  Quiet , peaceful hotel in a small village with a very good restaurant.

  If you are in the Hamburg-area it`s mostly very busy. But here is quite different. You can relax in the spa, walk in green surrounds or take trip in a horse-drawn vehicle on the moors. The room was very comfortable and clean. The restaurant built in an oldfashion way served very nice dishes.

  Very cozy hotel situated in rural surroundings in the relaxing city of Hanstedt. Traditionally good German cuisine. Very pleasant staff and owners. Great swimming and sauna facilities. Lovely garden and outdoor area. Newly built restaurant and conference center. Partially inconvenient breakfast area.

  Psssst...a good place between Lüneburger Heath and Hamburg?

  What did I like most: The staff is very friendly and very accommodating Breakfast and business area is very modern and appealing The swimming pool is big enough to do a few laps Various saunas and a steam bath Free rental - bathrobe and bag for the spa Very good mattress free WIFI free water in the wellness area What is Ok: Room was not as modern as the other areas Shower was old fashioned The room rate is rather higher What would be nice for the future: a free drink such as water a bigger tv in the room If room service would clean up better (used towel is in the same place for 3 days) Generally it was a nice stay, above all, the people make the difference! One has noticed that the personnel with the history and the family identified one. Thank you for a few nice days!
