  Cosy stay

  The Forellenhof is situated in the middle if nowhere. The surroundings are very quiet. The interior looks most like an Austrian hotel. Lots of wood and warmth. I had a single room which was relatively small but comfortable. Wifi was fast and reliable. Temperature in the room was fully controllable with a window that can be opened. The bathroom was also small. It had everything you need and a fantastic shower. The last day I had to leave early and I inquired about getting something to eat in the morning. They told me O could eat whatever they had out there already in the morning. Unfortunately around 5:45, the lobby was locked and no-one to be found so had to leave without breakfast. So off hour service is poor. Also had dinner one evening which was good quality. With 70 euro for the night with (a fantastic) breakfast price quality is definitely okay.

  Friendly, clean and professional

  Second time in Germany, first time was nothing to write home about but this hotel was very good, the schnitzel was tasty, beer was VERY good and the hotel was very clean. Lovely and quiet and sooooo comfortable, if I came back to this part of Germany again I would definitely stay here again. Big shout out to the waitress who helped me so much with the menu, a big help otherwise I wouldn't have tried the schnitzel ;-)

  Perfect Setting,

  Whilst I was on business and arrived quite late, the staff were more than helpful on arrival. It was nice to relax in the less formal bar whilst overlooking the on site brewery. Rooms were clean, modern and very comfortable. Breakfast was well laid out and there was plenty of choice throughout. Staff were helpful though the language barrier sometimes caused a problem, especially when reading the menu, as it was all in German. Don't let this put you off, no matter what you choose it will be presented well and taste just as good. Thank you for a lovely short stay, will definitely be back!

  In Spite of Poor Wifi Great Hotel

  The hotel is in the country where it was quite peaceful. Our room was 100 meters away from reception but had its own private parking and lots of windows to enjoy the scenery. Quite large with a large bathroom, it was clean and comfortable. We even saw a stork guarding her nest of young ones as we walked to the building. There is a restaurant on site so you don't have to go out for dinner. The breakfast was ample and the staff quite friendly and helpful. We could not access the Internet in our building but did not advise the staff of this and just enjoyed the night.

  Georgeous Hotel - especially for bigger gatherings - in beautifull area of Germany - check the home brew!

  The Forellenhof has grown over the many years I visited and is meanwhile a quite large hotel for events. The Restaurant: features not only the signature trout dishes from their own pond, but meanwhile also offers their own delishious beer: "Schnuckenbräu". Local and seasonal dishes can also be recomended. Rooms: have recently been renovated.
