    Inolvidable experiencia

    Estuvimos primeroa finales de mayo en Zermatt. En aquella ocasión nos alojamos en el Kulmhotel Gornergrat. Coincidimos en mayo con varios días de mal tiempo, y ni siquiera pudimos ver el Matterhorn en ningún momento . Por esa razón decidimos volver en cuanto pudiéramos y lo hicimos ahora. En esta ocasión cambiamos y nos alojamos en este estupendo hotel. La habitación nos encantó, teníamos una gran terraza en la primera planta con vistas impresionantes a la montaña. y en esta ocasión el tiempo estuvo genial. Además, nos encantó la media pensión, de mucha calidad. Y otor añadido es la zona de sauna jacuzzi con unas vistas únicas. Deisfrutamos enormemente y volveríamos sin dudarlo.

    Lovely ski in ski out with very friendly team

    Above Zermatt right on the slopes a real ski in ski out hotel. The location is perfect in the sense that the gornegrat ski area is immediately accessible and the Matterhorn paradise area is easily accessible with two gondola rides. It is possible to send your skis and boots in advance with the SBB, the staff of the hotel will pick them from the train station and you will find them in the ski room on your arrival

    Beautiful and delicious mountain stay

    We had great 2 night stay at Riffelhaus. Here are some highlights: a. the hotel is located right in the ski resort, allowing for ski-in-ski-out. We didn't ski but snow-shoe walking and it was marvelous, with great view of the Matterhorn and the surrounding glaciers. b. Despite the limited opening hours, this hotel has satisfactory wellness area which is rare the mountain. c. Due to the location, the hotel is half-board and often, the dinner menu are disappointing. Not at Riffelhaus! We had delicious dinner with innovative menu using local produce. d. Staffs were friendly and efficient, especially the person at the Reception. We would be back, as it is not often to find a ski in ski out with delicious dinner.

    Amazing staff, wonderful ski location

    We visited just before covid hit. The place was beautiful, our room was warm and cozy, and all the food and amenities were were fabulous. The staff was super friendly and fun, what a great team they have there. The hot tub with the view was a big selling point for us, and we thought it could have been a little hotter without creating a big liability, but I think that is the only thing we could have possibly complained about. It's not the place to stay if you want to see the town of Zermatt at night, but if you're there to ski and enjoy life on the mountain, you'll hit the jackpot.

    Great stay, ski-in, ski-out

    A wonderful place right in front of the Matterhorn. Located on the ski slopes results in a unique skiing experience! Very friendly staff, great kitchen, awesome wine collection especially with local producers.
