    Lugar de ensueño y servicios

    El Resort Riffelalp 2222m cumplió con creces todas nuestras expectativas. Su entorno es maravilloso (solo accesible en tren cremallera), las vistas desde allí del Cervino son de las mejores que hemos visto y tener la posibilidad de ver amanecer poco a poco en su cumbre (desde nuestra habitación y terraza) es una de las experiencias que no olvidaré en la vida. Cuenta con toda clase de servicios, hasta bolera o billar, la atención que nos prestaron fue inmejorable y sus restaurantes son de una grandísima calidad. ¡Recomendamos su estancia sin lugar a dudas!

    Bad service

    The Resort Riffelalp 2222m did not comply with our expectations. We booked a night in the hotel and we were three rooms. During our station the service was really bad, concretely, we received really bad treatment from a staff at the Bar, which name was Michael since he literally started shouting us for being at a safe distance from our colleagues with masks on just saying hello. A hotel of this category can not allow this kind of service from the staff to their clients, it was a disrespect to us in front of all hotel clients as well as in front of other members of the staff.     GREAT LOCATION VERY BAD SERVICE

    We were a group of 6 friends that reserved 3 rooms and stayed 1 night from 23 to 24 januray 2021, we love to skiing and we travel a lota round the world and always choose the best hotels an locations in our destinations. The hotel is very nice great location, the food correct but over rated but service they have a lot of work there and so much to improve. Specially the waiter, Michael, at the main bar, so rude repeatedly. That kind of things make our stayed not good as we spected.

    Heaven in Zermatt

    After staying at Riffelalp I don't want to stay or ski anywhere else! If you come to Zermatt this is definitely the best place to stay. Love the ski-in / ski-out lifestyle and the luxury of being high up in the mountains away from all the crowds. After arriving on the train the walk through the snowy forest to the hotel was so peaceful and beautiful. The hotel itself is impeccable. The design is gorgeous and I had the feeling it had been renovated the day before my arrival. Everything was perfect... the comfort, the lighting, the cleanliness. The bar is gorgeous and I enjoyed some drinks by the fire. Thank you Salvatore, Sebastian, Michael, and team!!! My room was gorgeous and it felt as if I could reach out and touch the Matterhorn. There are three restaurants. My first meal was at Alexander - I was warmly greeted and welcomed by Alcindo. The staff and service was fantastic!! Also for breakfast. Thank you Roberto, Andrea, Tobi, Georgia, Xavier, Guillaume, Antonella, Mattia, and all the team!!! Thank you for your gracious hospitality!! Roberto from In-room dining was fantastic - so genuinely friendly and striving to give the best service! Grazie! I also enjoyed several meals at Al Bosco. Thanks to Katrine and Emanuel I was wonderfully taken care of both for dinners and lunches on the terrace. Wonderful!!! The spa was beautiful. After a long day skiing it's so nice to go and relax in the spa (sauna, steam, pool, etc...). Definitely opt for a massage with Gianfranco or Camille. Thank you Gianfranco for the healing and therapeutic massages!! Well needed after a day on the slopes!!! Reception and Concierge team were most gracious and helpful at all times! Thank you Anna, Leah, Leonie, Giacomo, Chantra, Henrique, and Stefan!!! Bellmen Roman, Bojan, and Miguel are no normal Bellman as they are responsible for transporting our luggage from the train to the hotel (by snowmobile) and to our room. Much appreciated and always with a smile! Thank you!!! Special thanks to Alcindo, Tobi, Katrine, Emanuel, and Georgia who went the extra step to provide genuine friendly personalized service with excellence!!! I look forward to return again this year!!

    Quality of Food is missing

    2nd time at Riffelalp, this time for 1 week. 5 star in almost all categories, even under covid. However, the food is not on the same level as the hotel would suggest. Neither the main restaurant or the Italian one deliver food of high quality. If you consider meat at SFr 50 its should be of the highest standard prepared. In fact its not and not even comparable how the same dishes get delivered in other resorts in CH. It almost leaves the impression as to covid to safe money on the quality of kitchen staff and food quality. Very sad to see if you are willing to pay for high standard and its missing out on that one.
