  peaceful beach hotel with good baker

  Good place to spend a quiet, peaceful weekend in the end of September, after a busy holiday season is over. The sea is still warm, hotel is 30 m from the beautiful sandy beach, each room has a balcony with a sea view. If you love cakes and pastries, it's the right place. The breakfast buffet consists of large variety of these. Rooms are high and airy, furnished in a practical laconic way, bed very comfortable. The staff is open and friendly, speaks good English. Well stocked lobby bar would serve you drinks at any hour.

  Fair deal

  We would like to mention location which is very good, close ti seacoast and in May it is very peacefull. This is average hotel, which need renovation. Rooms and breakfast look like 30 years back and frooze in time. Staff were friendly.

  Back to the Past!

  I used to travel to Milano Marittima from 1977 -1987 every year with my parents, sometimes twice and we stayed at Hotel Ridolfi and LOVED our vacations. Planning a family vacation to Italy, it was clear we had to spend one night at Hotel Ridolfi to show my husband, daughter, and mother-in-law where we spent so many fun vacations. The location of this hotel is still great, but it stops there. The rooms looked like they haven't been updated since my last visit (except the small flat screen TV), but back then they looked stylish, now just worn down. Missing and broken hooks in the bathroom, lack of counterspace, and a terrible mattress. Going to dinner meant everybody got dressed up, high quality items were served, and Mr. Ridolfi used to make his rounds talking to his guests. Replaced by cafeteria style meals at best, no adequate storage to hide items in the restaurant that don't need to be seen, and absolutely no atmosphere. The clientele staying at this hotel is VERY different as well. The staff was very nice, helpful, but definitely overwhelmed, even though not many rooms were occupied. Looking forward to a walk down memory lane with my mom, we were highly disappointed and embaressed in our visit. We won't return, but we will hold our past memories very dear.

  good place for beach vacations

  Good location, excellent reception staff, excellent cleanliness, very good beach, comfortable free parking. BUT: strange behavior of a waitress whose reprimands to clients in an unacceptable form during the breakfast make the beginning of the day discomfortable. Getting a room without breakfast would be a very good option, if possible.
