All I Ask Is a Good Shower and Sleep

Came here for a short vacation. Beautiful country and views. The rooms fell far short of expectations. Nice kitchen, living room dated furniture with a newer TV which offered no premium channels or streaming. The shower had no water pressure. If they do this to save a few cents, I'd point out it takes forever to rinse. The bedroom had a comfortable "sleep number" mattress but the bedroom window opened to a hallway. Couldn't get any fresh air unless you opened the window then you had no privacy. Plus the shade didn't keep out the light from the hallway. Bad design. Disappointing overall.

Looks better once you're inside the condo.

This condo is much better once you get inside. We were at the bottom of the area and drove for several minutes to get to the restaurant and bar connected to the main resort area. The main building at the top of the hill contains the spa, check-in area, concierge, restaurant, and bar. We had excellent meals in the restaurant Chrish, the pastry chef, made a special ice cream that was totally amazing. We shared one piece of his chocolate cake and it was light and full of flavor. During our stay we had shrimp scampi, filets, port tenderloin, and the mushroom ravioli. Each meal was served with great care and was as good as any restaurant in the area. The bartender Dave is excellent too. He serves special drinks and makes Happy Hour events enjoyable.

This place is cheap for a reason and is the reason why timeshares have a bad reputation - stay away

This place has some nice pictures. It says it has amenities like classes, kid center, and shuttles. But note that this is a timeshare and they have locked people in to paying for years and then let everything degrade massively. My first day, the elevator broke. Second day I signed up for kids care and redid my schedule because they cancelled 1 session because of lack of sign ups even though I was here during high season. The kids club is a dirty, dingy play room at best. The "caretaker" was primarily yelling on the phone at Social Security rather than tending to the kids, only pausing a moment to yell at my kids to put the toys away (and this was in front of me, horrific). The next night, my key card no longer worked and while we stood in the cold, they took 20 minutes to send someone. The shuttle is only to a casino. Then most of the jacuzzis broke and were not in use - mgmt lied to me first to say they would be fixed overnight and then next day said they'll be broke for 2-3 weeks. When I complained, they gave me the run around saying a manager would call me. No one did. Chasing them further the assistant manager was rude and said things break and we will do nothing for you. This is why all timeshares have a bad name. They don't keep this place up and think they'll get away with it - stay away. There are much better options than this place.

    Severely outdated

The old brown carpet was torn, there were stains on sheets and chips on dishware, and the amenities were depressing with a small pool in a low light, dingy room. We had no porch, nor windows to open - the only windows went into the hallway so very odd privacy. Nothing inviting, nothing to walk to, nothing helpful from the staff - just so not worth staying here.

    I was overcharged by $197.84

Hot tub not working. No one working during posted office hours. When I checked in, they have a check-in and then you have to see the timeshare salesperson in order to get your "parking pass." I told the timeshare salesperson that I booked on Hotels.com and he stopped trying to sell me a timeshare. I made my reservation in June 2019 for Feb 2020. I was quoted a total of $775.64 for my entire stay from Hotels.com. The hotel instituted a "resort fee" of $44/day AFTER I made my reservation and I was charged in total $973.48 which is $197.84 more than my original contract. I contacted Hotels.com 4 times to try to get this resolved. Adam C. supervisor at Hotels.com finally said there was nothing they could do about it. I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on.
