  First time in China....

  I went with my husband for his business trip. We were both surprised as to how big and beautiful this hotel was. The only negative I can think of was how most of the staff at Reception did not speak English. There is 1 or 2 that managed to communicate with us in English. The restaurants too, had no one that could converse in English. I know this is China, but because this is a hospitality business you would expect more staff that could communicate with foreigners - basically English, French or Spanish. That is just my suggestion, in order to cater to more tourists or foreign visitors and elevate service above other hotels. I found though that this is not uncommon with hotels in China.

  Nice clean hotel but due for facelift

  Stayed at the hotel for two nights. The hotel stands out from the rest of the surroundings and the service was excellent. Beds are pretty stiff but other than that it was a good option for a business trip.

  Overnighter

  Had a quick 2 day 1 night business trip to Dongguan and was recommended this hotel by my business contact. After the grit and heat of the factory visit i was pleasantly suprised by the resort style hotel. Lobby was striking and the room was very spacious and had some welcome freebies. I didn't get a chance to check out the facilities and it may not be brand spanking new but the staff were very welcoming and i had a very relaxing night. Can't say fairer than that! Will definitely make some time to check it out properly next time I'm in Dongguan.

  Great Hotel for Business Trips

  I stayed in the Richwood Garden Hotel in Dongguan for three nights and it was my first visit. The Hotel is what Im expecting and the rooms are quite big as usual for China. I can recommend this hotel for business trips especially because of the location: close to Shenzhen Airport

  Could improve a lot better

  There is swimming pool, sauna, family-themed room. Some rooms have bathroom and shower separated which is nice. Family rooms has a set for a child and a tent and toys. There are also few shops near the hotel. But there are many things to be improved. The setting of the restaurant (dining tables and food stalls can be switched to facilitate flow and better, more spacious seating) the space could be better managed for getting food and eating. Please improve the wifi which is inaccessible sometimes. Directions could be better inserted. (The lift is inconvenient for access to guest rooms.) Room lighting is quite dim (especially at night)
