  Pint

  Stopped for a pint before cinema and they sell my fav one fifty lashes ,served as it should be in a proper pint glass , super friendly Batman from Darwin , would recommend , nice balcony , clean toilets too xx

  Location!

  Excellent location, in the heart of the city, situated in Rundle Mall which provides lots and lots of shops. Unfortunately, parking at the hotel/shopping centre is pricey as its $20 each time you exit the car park. Nice little hotel, reception staff were lovely, spacious rooms.

  Great pre theatre dinner

  Arrived prior to Billy Elliot show at Festival Theatre for pre show dining. Helpful bar staff, cute too. Bought our drinks and meals without a fuss. I had the kale and quinoa salad without the chicken and was super nice. Not salty or too oily. Great balance. Amenities clean and fresh. Cannot fault.

  Surprisingly good

  Stayed here with my almost 4 year old daughter for a mini break. Before we checked in I received an email from the hotel saying there was a function at the hotel and there may be noise until late in the night (10pm or midnight I think they said). As I was traveling with a young child I asked if we could have a room at the back of the hotel that might be a bit quieter, they were more than happy to oblige and the room was very quiet. So convenient for shopping and dining, room was clean and spacious and nice and dark for good sleeping.

  Disappointing

  For a place that has many positive feedbacks it was a real disappointment for me. Due to Covid, the Reception area is closed. Check-in is in the basement, next to the Pokies room at an unattended booth. So had to make my way to the bar and wait. Magnetic room keys are a joke. Used it twice (in the lift to go up and room entry) and it stopped working. 'Because I kept it near a magnetic clip' ??? First time for me and have stayed in plenty hotels that use this system and never had any problem with the magnetic strip. The room with 'courtyard' view was a joke. Door opened onto a 2x3m cement pad (with plastic grass) and had a view of 3 walls, 3 stories high. Could not leave the door open due to deep fry stink from the neighbourhood restaurants and the wind tunnel noise. Free use of internet also a joke. Hardly any reception in the room, slower than dial up - and the next day the password (that has never been changed in 100 years according to reception) was invalid. Bathroom tiles cracked, paint peeling. Apart from all that, the location is great (right in the mall), the bed was perfect although the pillows too big and soft.
