  Smaller and dirtier than pictures, wifi doesnt work.

  This hotel is in a good location and is acceptable for solo travelers. But the room was much smaller and dirtier than it seemed online. WiFi did not work most of the time, and there was no other available signal around. I would not recommend unless you're getting a really good deal here.

  Below Expectation

  The deluxe double room was overrated. The bed in this class of rooms was just too hard, we changed rooms twice and ended up taking a twin bed room in the end. The deluxe rooms we went to all had connecting rooms. The connecting door is not sound proof at all. We were woken up at 1 am by guests in the other room returning from outside. We could hear all their conversations in detail (privacy issues) as well as sounds from the bathroom. The hotel staff was very helpful and kept apologizing but that will not solve this noise problem. Hotel management should look into these issues. The twin room we stayed in was small. The shower area had one side protruding wall at almost eye level, making the space very small, I had to be constantly be mindful not to knock into anything as I took a shower. It was a bad hotel experience.

  Couldn't swing a cat

  I stayed at the RF hotel in Taipei for 2 nights. The hotel is down a side street from the main traffic road. The check in reception is on level 7 of the hotel. Check in was fast. I was given room 606 ON Level 6. The room was very small the walls had signs of dampness. The shower and toilet was a decent size. Small fridge complimentary bottled water, hot water jug and tea/coffee. No cupboard/wardrobe just a rail above the tea/coffee station. I had to buy bug spray at the 7/11. Had an issue when I checked in. Wifi was good in the room. Breakfast was included and I was surprised the choice was decent. Its is easy walking distance to cafes bars and restaurants. The photos on the site are not what I experienced with my room. Possibly ask for a better type room. I would choose another hotel if I was re-visiting Taipei.

  Great stay

  Had short stay in this hotel.. I hv to say their staff especially mr bill , miss Elaine and mr Ryan were super helpful...breakfast was great..rooms was relatively small but very clean.. excellent location as its easy for us to move around .. mrt was 200 m away from our hotel..overall

  Nice hotel with fantastic staff

  I definitely recommend this hotel. I stayed here during a difficult period in my life. The staff were very accommodating with my many requests. Maggie the Director, is a particularly lovely and offered to help me even after I left the hotel. The breakfast area is very relaxing and the breakfast is above average.Pretty good value for money. The only regret is that some of the rooms do not have a view but were described on hotels.com as "street view". The staff immediately changed my room upon request. They and I informed hotels.com so hopefully it will be changed soon!
