    Decent hotel

-Not top modern, having said that the standard was good. I ordered a room with balcony from my travel agency, but when I got there I got a room in a building next to me "main" building on the ground floor without veranda. But thank God I was given a room with balcony when I complained (Maybe this was my travel agency´s fault, I don´t know) -The remote for air condition did not work, but worked when changed batteries. There was noone in the restaurant area when I wanted to inform about this, so had to buy the batteries myself -Old fashioned plumming so had to press the toilet water button really hard, lol -Wifi worked very poorly, only worked about 30% of the time; weak signal in my room. -Good food at restaurant! Also nice with view to the sea -Cleaning lady was very service minded and helpful!!! -Cleaning and towel change every other day -Ok supermarked right next to the hotel and a bigger supermarked 100 meters away -Good with buses to Split city all the time and bus stop 20 meters away -No real reception at the hotel; felt I was lucky that there was someone in the restaurant area when I arrived so I could check in. The guy in the restaurant area looked surprised when I arrived and I almost felt I had walked in the wrong entrance. But of course I had not -Beach area right across the road. Nice area with ok selection of restaurants -Road near by with quite a bit of traffic, but did´t really bother me To summarize I could come back here, but not a fantastic hotel. Be aware of what room you order here as size, somewhat standard and view varies greatly. Service was good; only wished they had a reception so you could feel sure you always found staff. But definitely a good stay.

Nice, but it is NOT close to Split City / Centar / Old Town

Stayed on July 11, 2017 for a couple of nights. The hotel itself is nice - adequate. TV, Wifi. Two people (not a couple) on two single beds. Bathroom was fine although it seems hot water is difficult to come by. A/C in the room was a god send, it was 35 degrees all week and absolutely stinking hot! Very nice balcony to relax on. To get to Split, Old Town etc. you can take two different busses - the number 16(?) or the other bus that looks like a tour bus with the writing "Podstrana -> Split ->" on it. Both are about 16 Kuna pp. BE Warned though, these busses took us minimum 30 minutes on any given day. Taxi cost us about 150 Kuna one way. Don't be scammed, ask how much before you get in and make sure you use the meter. The staff at the hotel were very nice, no troubles at any point with the hotel. We bought food from the Konzum (grocery chain) behind the building. The food at the hotel is EXPENSIVE (around 180 Kuna pp minimum). We found a nice beach bar about a 20 minute walk (if you're facing the beach, walk to the left) from the hotel. Walk past the Rabona, and just keep going. You'll see it. We ate a pizza, burger, 2 beers each + 2 shots for about the same price (180 Kuna). Beach is literally across the street. Stoney beach though so bring flip flops or swimming shoes if you have them.

    Great little hotel

Great little hotel in Podstrana with excellent staff, but no reception, ask help from restaurant that is in the same building. Our room was at top level, number 7, with great views to the sea (big balcony). Wifi at the room works...now and then. Room (3 rooms + kitchen) has 2 air-conditioning machines, so all cold enough (outside 35 C). 47 steps to the room from outside, no elevator. Busy road between hotel and sea. Room is a little bit old fashion but clean. Konzum (supermarket) 30 m and bus stop also about 30 m away. Bus number 60 goes to Split but there is also other companies driving the same line.

    Amazing tuna

We've been here during our croatian holiday and it's a very good place. It was close to our place so we got it easily by walk. We had a table outside on the balcony and we spent a nice dinner time. Moderate price and food very tasty!
