Nice hotel with a nice viewVery nice hotel as some rooms has a great view for the entrance of Suez Canal but the hotel needs some maintenance in some rooms and service needs improvement but overall it is nice hotel and the renovated rooms are really nice

Port Said VisitI would like to express my thanks to all the staff at Resta hotel for a very friendly stay. I stayed just over 2 weeks and would have no problems staying another. On arrival I was welcomed with a free upgrade and the reception staff couldn't be friendlier. Food was fantastic and the General Manager happily added items to breakfast buffet when asked. Habibi Resta ;-)

Very Bad hotel experienceFirst visit to Port Said with very bad experience at hotel High value for the room Very bad view , very noisy room as Central A/C machine under room All rooms view with the same rate price which is not fair 1100 LE and cant change room I will not come here again

Day UseCame to resta for day usè for the first time. Have visited many times in the evenings and it feels like 2 different hotels.i have worked in hospitality and tourism for many years and the contrast between the day and evening staff is massive. Im the evening the staff and service are exceptional along with amazing food which is of good quality and excellent price. However In the day its all different. The service is awful, none of the staff are friendly and smiling, no name badges worn, questioned about if we knew the price of a bottle of wine, not full information given regarding the daily charge (150 le) which is deducted from the food and drinks bill and the end. Asked 3 times for a menu then given printed menus of which both were different. Then having to wait over 20 mins and ignored for the 'none foreign'guests. Again to be ignored as the waiter just wandered off inside. Finally got our order took by another unhappy staff member no smile no thank you no nothing! The service needs massive improvement,staff need to smile and be welcoming to ALL nationalities. The recreation guy obviously has a fab job chilling tshirt less on his shift. Nice job. Once again the service in the evening is excellent as is the welcome. But please please please sort the front of house staff during the day as really from the gentleman in the resturant we paid our money too the recreation man and one of the waiters at the pool their guest service is awful. BIG BIG thanks to the chef whos food is excellent, spring rolls club sandwich beef fillet etc are all excellent freshly prepared and presented to a high standard. Happy staff equals happy guests.

Warm stayThe hotel is clean, the rooms are clean, the location is great looking over the canal. The breakfast was really great and there was a variety. Easy to reach the hotel and the prices are reasonable ..
